it all depends on the individual dog...i've seen a video of a pitbull beating a kangal in a fight...wolves are skinny compared to the Cane Corso. Cane Corso are very muscular and wolves can't bite through their tough neck while Cane Corso can bite through the wolves neck and kill them because wolves aren't muscular. Kangals are too big and strong for wolves and they were bred to kill wolves.

Cane corso is a good watch/protection dog. Also, these dogs stay close to their owner and family and they will not run away from home if you let them outside without a leash. They are suspicious of strangers, but gentle with family members. When in a fight, they don't feel pain but there is one weak spot of the Cane Corso -the ears. This is why people crop their ears when they are young so in case they get into a physical fight they won't get hurt.
