That pretty normal in other countries aswell. Over here in the Netherlands everyone has their own fireworks and lights it on the streets. Though, we don't have the insane fireworks they show here in the vid, but nontheless, we got our own.

I think it's way better then some silly show where you can't light a thing yourself.
