I like the way he does Edward, my only criticism is that he's a little TOO broody. In the books Edward is witty and sweet. Though book-Edward also has that brooding side, for the most part, when he is with Bella he's a lot of fun. He's always teasing her, and I think we don't see enough of that side of their relationship in the movies. We only see the dramatic, angst-ridden parts really.

@aangelangel189 I TOTALLY agree with you. I love Rob, but I do think that he shows the tortured side of Edward more than what is actually written in the books. He's said in interviews that the only way he thought he could make Edward a little bit more realistic and possible to play was by focusing on the character's self-hatred (which is sort of more relatable). In doing so, however, he compromised a little bit of the wittiness, sweetness and "bad-assness" that we loved in Edward. Oh well :)
