Doom Dragon isn't nearly as hard as Dullahan to beat! But Dullahan isn't too bad, if you use Daedalus and Eclipse on him a few times in quick succession, and always keep Flash on hand :)
I just used impact twice on Felix and Sol Blade was always howling hitting for... umm, I can't remember, I'll have to find the game cartridge somewhere. I just spammed all my lucky peppers on felix and I ended up destroying this boss.

i remember this my grandpa played golden sun he had trouble killing this boss i had a go at it and killed it fairly easily (i had isaac garet ivan and piers) i dont remember what isaac's sword was but its special did 1000+ dmg and he did it often, i had garet and ivan use djinn while piers healed everybody and it went down pretty fast

i was level 45 when i beat him....and he was freakin hard when he drained all your djinn then used that attack (i forgot the name) it knocked me out easily xD
you had level 42s and the doom dragon was tough?..... Those characters are high enough to beat dullahan without summon rushing. I'm replaying the game again and xfered data. I've been running from random monsters as much as possible to stay as low level as I can. When I joined Isaac's party, they were higher level than my party.
what? You do know its impossible to fight dullahan if you dont have all the djinn. Anyway, what I did was avoid using my djinn and leave them on set. I had from left to right Sheba, Isaac, Garet, Felix with classes as Wizard, Ronin, Chaos Lord, Protector respectively. That set up allows Sheba to have the impact and wish series, gives Isaac the impact and resist series, Gives Garet Revive, and gives Felix Revie and the wish series. I also had a second Wizard (Mia) in the back for Djinn Storm.
First of all, Kain12309: The Doom Dragon was a fucking awesome last boss, if not to say the least, challenging. Secondly. The moves he used was Cruel Ruin and Djinn Blast. If he used Djinn Blast you were literally fucked, left to start over. He was cheap but in a kind of good way. He was a great last boss once again.
fuckin Cruel Ruin. A move EVERYONE hated when they first battled it. Now, I can counter it. But then there's Djinn Storm and that's always ass. Great Boss, Great Song, Great Game. Cant wait till 2010

for me i really hate it when it uses cruel ruin cos my party always get killed by it-.- lol i think alex got pwned bt the golden sun while he was climbing up that mt to reach golden sun. well the wise one helped them in the end.....i still think the wise one is a bit evil tho, making them fight their own parents aka doom dragon
the wise one knew that when they defeated the dragon and lit the beacon their parents would regain energy. it was kind of mean to make them fight though.
At least this one was a decent boss, Fussion dragon was pathetic and fucking easy, at least this one using Cruel Ruin and Djjin Party and hell fucked you a bit.
I like now to kill him in less than 5 minutes, its funny really and I hope the next final boss is as hard or harder than this
That is why i would always try to revive Jenna first if she died. Healing aru is why, she always has to use that move. Most people would agree with this method.

All-in-all, it was all that hard of a fight until you got to the end. Most teams will rely SO heavily on a Djinn setup that Djinn Storm will usually annihilate any team pretty quickly by not only causing them to lose their powerful Djinn Summons but also the more powerful PSY-moves and Stats upgrades from any unset Djinn. That combined with the devastating Cruel Ruin easily killed whole eight-man parties.
@Linkred2 Jeena and Sheba was my saves that's why they got the items that gave them pp regen so Sheba can continue throw buffs and Jenna could continue to heal.
Game Boy Advance. The game is no longer available new unless you order it off of the internet. You could probably find it cheap at Game Stop or any other used game store or you could buy it from a friend.
using flash and the other shield dijnn are nice. if you used them right you can kill most bosses without healing once, but that evil dijnn storm ruins everything!

all of them had the max number of djinis equipped.
for them to be powerful they need their respective djinis equipped:garet:fire issac and Felix:earth Piers:Water
i remember this song...It's burned into my memory from the hour long boss fight i had with Doom Dragon...I'm not kidding when i say i beat him by 1 turn. If he had done his Cruel Ruin attack again my only remaining character wouldn't have survived.
Haha Doom Dragon was a small fry compared to Dullahan(if you fight him normal style and not with a summon rush). He is a real pain in the ass, allthough the battle is really epic.
It was amazing to see, mixed with this awesome music, mixing in it's the final fight of the series, and the fact that it's powerful, makes it feel so epic.

the first time i fought him my guys were level 40-ish and it took me ten minutes to beat him.
the second time, every one was level 55-ish, i had all djinn, and beat all the extra bosses, and i beat him in about 1 minute.

yea that was me when i first did it. but i had like level 60 characters and half the djinn,
so the second time i played it, i had level 99 characters and all djinn so that was like a 5 minutes fight.

This is why you need Flash. And djinn that make recovery time faster.
Isaac: Attack with Excalibur Felix: Attack with Sol Blade Jenna: Heal with Aura and rarely use djinn. Garet: Use Flash and whatever else you got.

xD yea i know the feeling. I found Dullahan more of 1. Soon as fight starts he casted Djinn storm, then charon..wiped out 2/4 people on first grp lol

Lol.The first battle i did aainst the Doom Dragon,it didnt use it at all :D I gues that was like a 1 in a mmillion chance of happening though.

i remember this song...It's burned into my memory from the hour long boss fight i had with Doom Dragon...I'm not kidding when i say i beat him by 1 turn. If he had done his Cruel Ruin attack again my only remaining character wouldn't have survived.

Haha Doom Dragon was a small fry compared to Dullahan(if you fight him normal style and not with a summon rush). He is a real pain in the ass, allthough the battle is really epic.

I loved the game, the theme, and Cruel Ruin. Call me insane, but I absolutely loved it every time that beast used Cruel Ruin. Such a wondrous attack.
