Wow, you are really good, but you really shouldn't pick your own colours. It will make your sprite look much more like a pokemon, and overall much, much better, if you were to pick your colours from existing pokemon sprites. =D.

I try my hardest to make my sprites %100 my own work, and with the exception of skintones I tend to make my own colors. It's a good skill to learn, especially if you decide you want to sprite something besides Pokemon. (as well as the fact that I've learned a lot more about colors since I made this P: )
