Straight edge is a life style where you dont drink, smoke or have casual sex (outside relationships). Sometimes it also involves being vegan or vegetarian and having no caffeine.

Its mainly in the metalcore and hardcore scene. Emo's just stole it over to get more attention for themselves :)
