  • did it come with assembly instructions?

  • @iwasborntobefly Yep. A booklet and DVD.

  • What do you mean when you say "When road is clear, it rides almost as fine as my LHT"? What is an LHT? Please explain. Thanks!

  • @ajzabMy big wheel touring bike (28 inch wheels) Surly Long Haul Trucker (Surly LHT)

  • V-Brake!?

  • @noranukosan Yep. BF pocket sport (stock bike) comes with v-brakes.

  • The video was just under 4 minutes with fast motion photography, but how long did it actually take to get the bike assembled?

    Thanks,

    Larry

  • @schellter It took about 30 minutes, now i can do it in 15 minutes. If i would be getting a new folding touring bike, I would buy Dahon speed tr. My girlfriend has it and it is more versatile if you don't have pack it in a suitcase IMHO. In Europe it is cheaper to fly with bike than pay excess weight from suitcase (Weight limit 20 kg). In april we didn't pay anything for our bikes (in cardboard boxes) when we flew from helsinki to amsterdam. Thanks for asking!

HI GUY! this is francesco from rome! i got fond of foldable bikes - i like bike friday but i own a jestream p8 from dahon, bought used- and i'm very eager to know HOW you carried your bikes in cardboard boxes ( did you bring the boxes onboard and put them in the shelves? which are the measurement allowed?), if you had to contact the airline in advance or any technical suggestion. i'm going to portugal in september, and i'd love to bring my bike with me! :-) thanks a lot! ciao!!

  • @kitevvev We had regular cardboard boxes, which you can get free from your local bike shop. When we arrived Amsterdam, we threw boxes away and started to pedal! In Brussels, we went to a local bike shop and asked for cardboard boxes for return flight. I contacted airline in advance and gave dimensions of our bikes for them.

  • Enjoy your Pocket Sport. I really like my NWT.

  • Well, I am planning to enjoy... I have been testing the bike a lot. I think the weather in Finland isn't the best for BF right now. When road is clear, it rides almost as fine as my LHT, but when there is loose snow, BF is little bit unstable. I just can't wait our trip to Belgium, so that i can see "real" ride characters.
