If you work on Frimelda, she can be one of the best sword-users you can get. Personally, I didn't call her a blade master until her secondary ability was set to Flair(Parivir). How could you be a swordmaster without being a Parivir?! It's also good to get a Parivir and teach him Archer abilities. A swordmaster that hardly ever misses is the way to go.
Definitely more. 5-6, I think. All done in a row and you need to be progressively further in the game's storyline to get to the last one, meaning you can only get her endgame.
Frimelda starts as a Paladin and therefore has Paladin stats. If Paladin stats don't match your personal view of perfect Human stats, she is inferior to a generic Human unit. But she starts with Double Sword already learnt, has a unique sprite and looks cute. You decide.
Thanks. Double Sword already learnt is awesome! Thanks for telling me that the all come endgame. I messed up one of my files with that. But my second file is still in the early stages. Thank you again.
Oh, and by "in a row" I did mean that they're in specific order. You can take a break, save and do other missions or anything else in between. You actually need to go out of your way to trigger each part.
why did you bring them then? seriously i am a total noob when it comes to games, but i still love the final fantasy series... i have to level grind rediculously though and i have to say i have NEVER beaten the blue king and all my chars are above lvl 30.... so yeah... why bring them? (sorry, i tend to ramble =P)
So that they would gain experience and level up. Plus, they could tank, i.e. force the enemy to attack them instead of the actual useful characters in our party in this battle. You can see why I bring Luso in particular, even though he can't attack the boss physically, in the video.
@MoogleBoss Relfex doesn't count against abilities. I taught Frimelda Holy blade, and I had Luso as a Soldier with Warrior abilities. Using Rend Magic on the Kings is helpful.
There is a series of quests (some 4 or 5), unlocked after clearing one and being far enough in the story. You can't hire Frimelda until you've faced Illua for the first time, but I can't remember precisely when that's first possible. Check the Recruitment guide on GameFAQs for exact quest names and time when they appear in the pub.
i gues ill get that unit sooner or later, due that im taking each sidequest avaible on the pub, my 1st time it was jsut strigthfoward with the history.
No kidding? A Mandatory Missions playthrough (storyline missions only) in this game is just about as hard as it gets. You really need to go out of your way to succeed, though if you know what to do, it's just tedious farming.
well due that i hate grinding and i had my flashcard i used a couple ox multplier codes, still it was pettry fun the onyl side mission i did was to get the assasin class sadly i still havent figured out if humans can use the assasins class
really? thats shame then but it also brins conflict to the very game itself there is a hume thats an assasin also, and its the one who hurts cid badly.
does anyone know how to get counter foe viera or nu mou

quick question... there are three quests to get Frimelda, right? 2nd, do you need to do them all in a row? and 3rd, is he worth getting?

Frimelda and Luso can't hurt the black king in this challenge because he has Reflex (avoids all physical attacks).

@BiasedGuy123
I know. In this challenge, Luso and Frimelda had no access to active abilities so they acted as bait instead.

What mission do you have to do to get the heritor class?

"Gifted".

The White King's explosions were a sight to all,
yet Cid got stuck in this royal brawl
He rended the air and took the attacks
for the King had invoked his wrath.
Meiza followed Cid's actions,
and so too used a move similiar to Cid's machination,
The battle, however, did come to an end,
when the King was back-stabbed by the Paladin.

The clan struck revenge like a blow to the heart,
yet against the King, most attacks were naught,
His defence was almost perfect,
something the clan had already detected
After Cid was cured of his imp-like state,
Luso did seal the King's fate,
His royal rein was at an end,
And to the final resting place, he did ascend.
smallells 2 years ago
The black king stood, yet he was no Boss,
Against Luso, this battle would be his loss
The Black king attacked with all his might,
while Hurdy stayed away from the fight.
The king attacked and healed himself,
Meize fled quickly from the ice-shelf.
Heritor attacked akin to Ragnorok,
something which the king could not block.
Cid soon let down the Clan,
for he was made amphibian!

I actually managed to beat all five Kings, but I saved it until it was the last quest I had to do since they're extremely difficult together.

Black King first? This game is clearly racist.

i wanna start doing this challenge now! are you allowed to use those equipment tho? the ones you won from cinquleur?
mark89 2 years ago
Yeah, there's no No Equipment rule in this one.
MoogleBoss 2 years ago
Hurdy sure loves the Black Magick command.

He was a Bard before that, so I kept going into the second menu by inertia.
