I had a harder time with Cyclops' first stage than I did with Apocalypse lols.

to defeat this level with psylocke, use >> square to slide through annoying wall (you don't have to destroy it). The rest is easy.

When I was a kid, I had this for real on the snes. This particular video was done on an emulator, but still without cheats or savestates or any of that.

Yes, others have proven me wrong on this as well, which, in all honesty, is what I wanted. I really should change the description. Anyway, I'm sorry to say that I have no idea how to record a video with ZSNES. I use an emulator called snes9X, which has a video record feature built in. Anyway, if you do figure out how to make the vid, do a video response. I'm always happy to show how much I suck at games compared to others.

I am a man who is not only willing, but in fact proud to admit when he is wrong. You have proven that this level is beatable with Psylocke, and you did an excellent job of it. Well played, and excellent video. Despite playing this as Psylocke a lot and using her slide attack, and even though I go under the doors with Wolverine, I never thought to slide under with Psylocke. Thanks for the tip and the video, and for proving me wrong to so many people!

Cool! I'm so glad you didn't took it the mad way! yeah, it wasn't that hard but considering that I always liked Psylocke and I always tried to beat the whole game with her (In fact I have done that a few times). But yeah, cool you liked it! Have you ever tried to beat Juggernaut with Betsy? That one is hard too... at least for me.

I like Psylocke in this game, as well, and her final level is probably my favorite after Wolverine's. I have beaten Juggernaut with her, and like with most of the X-men, the primary tactic againt him is "stick and move."  She is also pretty good against Magneto at the very end.

Yeah... well... maybe omega red is more difficult, because all of her attacks are from close and omega red is fast and if you use the "knife" he will always hit you with that waving thing that I have no idea what it is lol

you are neglecting cyclops's roundhouse on the doors. Two roundhouses will break any of the doors, and it's faster than one optic blast. Also, the roundhouse will hit doors directly next to each other. So the best method is to round house any single or double doors, and optic blast if you have two doors with a space in the middle

I just tried out your roundhouse method, and it certainly does work, though I'm not certain it's faster. Granted I only did it once, but the lava was literally on my heels at the end. However, the benefit I do see with the roundhouse kick is that it's harder to screw up than an optic blast, and for that reason alone it might be the better option. Thanks for the input!

Though I orignally owned and played this game on the SNES console, I now use an snes emulator, snes9x to be specific. I do not use any of the cheating tools available, but this emulator comes with a video record feature that allows me to record as I play, if I wish.

If you remember, can you explain how to do it? Me and my cousin are having a hard time finding emulators/roms. Do you know any good sites?

Unfortunately, the site I used to use to get roms now no longer offers them, and I haven't downloaded any new ones in a long time. I emulator might still be available somewhere if you search for it on a search engine. Other than that, you'll just have to search around and hope you find one.

Ok. And if you have time, can you do a walkthrough on every level with all characters? I wanna see all the effective ways to beat the levels, if I ever find any damn emulators!!! Sorry, It just had to be said.
