it runs like shit.. any way i can fix that without spending the money? that i dont have??

Tune it as best you can with the graphical settings. Turn on fraps (if you don't have it, get it, it's useful) and when in-game fiddle with the settings and watch your framerate. Turning down things like object detail, shadows, and draw distance especially, can make a big difference.

I had a 8600, it's not a gamer card. Minimum get an 8800gt then you can at least run it somewhat.

I have an HD4890 btw, and my brother said that the 8800gt ran fine on the demo.

You can max the game out with 8800GT. I am, all except AA on max, haven't tried maxing it out nor do I care.
