@Karasamune I somehow doubt he would use hacks. Don't throw such statements so hastily. The overheaters can be dodged even in the range of their explosion. There are no difficulty settings for the challenges.

Thanks to this video, i was able to beat challlenge six by perfecting the first 3 rounds. only time i had emergency AR mode was during the last match with the 2 bogeys. That dash dodge glitch is a must in this challenge and god hard mode.
The Alpha Bogey 1HKO me multiple times on 5-3 on hard mode with his massive pink death beam attack, the Alpha Bravo also 1HKO me one or two times with his missile attack. I think it's about normal, or maybe even lower, the bogey on 6-2 seems to take a lot less damage to die than he did when I fought him on hard.
the bogey bravo laser bombardment can 1HKO you on any difficulty if you dont dofge it, and the bogey alphas laser cannon rarely 1HKO's you on hard, maybe it was just the fact that id killed them bothe before it even had the chance.

@gordomax If you don't care about being fast, you can position yourself in the cover of the destroyed ship before round 3 starts (the black, burning one). You can shoot the head off of every Romanov from there; the enemies won't react to this. It's one of the wierd safe spots during this challenge.
@gordomax You can chop the Romanov heads with the disk launcher to the left of were you start. Only one disk is required for each one. Once they don´t have heads they will wander aimlessly and you will be safe.
This vid just proves how much bs this challenge is. He had 4 or 5 times where he -could- have died, had the game decided to pursue him. But for whatever reason it did not.
I swear, this challenge is 50% skill, 10% memorization and 40% luck.

This guy is obviously a regular player of this game and knows all the twists and turns. Everything he did was all skill, and even then he showed that his playability of this was not perfect. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean its because of luck.

But I still think this challenge has too much luck involved for my liking. Not to say that that percentile of luck decreases the better you get at the game, but its still there too much, imo, mostly in regards to the 2 bogeys at the end. And I have already beaten this challenge a handful of times, so Im not just talking out of anger. Meh
at 0:19, the third couple of red robots... i discovered that if you dash and jump right on their left side and shoot at them sideways aiming a bit to the right the LFE shot goes through them and hits the fourth couple that pops up behind them. saves you a couple seconds and an LFE shot you can use in round four or something :)

@lettucekl you have to slide towards him using the energy boost (LB in xbox) then press the meele attack button (B by default) to do the kick. If you leave LB pressed, you'll hover in the air and you can use slow motion while you fall (like he did in this video). If you don't, you'll fall back to the ground. In both cases your energy bar will be depleted, so make sure to take advantage of the slow motion part if necessary.

It takes WILL and SKILL and LUCK damn!!! One time i got to a point where ALPHA BOGEY had around 3-5% of life left. Then i over boosted and the missile got me WTF!!! I thought i'd never get to there again but i wanted this so bad and i was able to finish it after another 5-7 tries. HOOORAAAYY!!

i must say *props*. however, i kept yelling in my head for you to grab the HMG. woulda ran thru those boogeys a bit faster, i know why you didnt tho, its not good for distance, but still, you kept relatively close to them (i usually stay far away from those freaks). but you pretty much had the same technique i use other than that.

@Darkomegamagic I think challenge four was a bitch. Five i actually got on my first try but 1 4 and 6 are the really hard ones for me. This strategy dragenyo shows is a bit to swiss cheese like. It looks good but it has to many holes in it. I'm sure it took him many many tries to actually get this and it seems a bit showboatish the way he plays.
This has got to be the most aggravating thing I've ever done. I finally got to wave 5 but only lasted about 4 seconds. It is thanks to this video, however, that I even got so far. Hopefully I'll be able to beat this one soon. It's the only thing keeping me from 1000 pointing it. So thanks for the video. I'll have to keep watching it in hopes of beating it.

Stupid question... The boost roll give you I-frames and even the Bogey's EMP grenade do not overheat the ARS suit??...
I need to learn to use that roll or I'm not going to win that fight. It is just direction + L2 + X at the same time?

How do you do the kick attack on Crystal Viper (iceman) when he gets up after knocking him down??

This has got to be the most aggravating thing I've ever done. I finally got to wave 5 but only lasted about 4 seconds. It is thanks to this video, however, that I even got so far. Hopefully I'll be able to beat this one soon. It's the only thing keeping me from 1000 pointing it. So thanks for the video. I'll have to keep watching it in hopes of beating it.
