she had the most original and genuine voice...by far the best voice ever on the show...but people with her soul find it less easy to become an "act"...to be moulded and told what to be and do...and as that process carried on in the show she began to wither...have you noticed how the show becomes less and less interesting as they are turned into little Frankensteins..original uncompromised talent is very rare...Minogue had no idea what to with her

people need to give this girl a break, she was in care, her twin sisters were killed in a fire, and shes had violent boyfriends all her life. when her fourth child was taken in to care she turned her life around and is now a devout church goer who just wants to do well for her kids. you people criticise her for doing bad, but then wont let that go when she wants to do some good, concentrate on your own lives!!!

Most in the industry are not impressed with Rachel. I can hear why. She was good enough for reality show fodder but now it is time for her to get a job and education and be a good example for her children. Teach them that hard work pays off and trying to be a singer after ruining what may at one time have been a passable voice with drugs smoking and such doesnt pay.Rachel you are not good enough . No one but a few who relate to you will tell you otherwise. Get a job and support your children!

Well, when I met her I was surprised at how charming and graceful she has become.

She is trying to make a difference to her children's lives and she should be aplauded.

There are many people out there who are not willing to change but I respect her so much for exposing herself to the public as she tries to change her life.

I agree, this was an outstanding audition. I heard that she didn't stay in the house with the others, that she went home to look after her kids. I don't know if this is true or not but surely that would have disadvantaged her because the others would have had more time to fine tune their performances. But she did well on Big Band night.
