I love garage sales and thrift stores. I know what you mean about making your day, finding a bargain like what you have is so rewarding. I've furnished my house, have found the neatest kitchen gadgets and even bought new things in unopened packages like bedsheets. My best deal was a pair of tiny real gold earrings for ten cents!! Not to mention books and movies.
