Jesus was peaceful, yes, but I'm pretty sure he would like us to fight for what we believe in if it's Him. And you took fight out of context with the Bible verse too! He was probably telling the disciples not to fight for him because he was meant to die on the cross. Because, if I remember correctly, the disciples kept trying to get him out of his crucifixion.
