Claro que tiene sus raìces en la mùsica àrabe. Fueron casi 800 años que la presencia àrabe estuvo en España, principalmente en el sur, luego entonces tuvo que haber una fusiòn en todos los aspectos. No es cuestiòn de racismo, es cuestiòn de historia. Saludos.

por otro lado, los gitanos NO provienen de los arabes ni eran musulmanes.

Our culture, traditions, architecture, and language was influenced by the Arabs to some degree. It is in our blood. I'm proud of that fact. The Spanish language has the most words that originate from Arabic than any other language. My father always told me when I was a child that Spain is my mother country. @rosiebeh7 dont forget the jews didt alot in the culture in spain and we have out own spanish-judeo lanuage called ladino and haketia for those from morroco. we also lived with arabs for many years in spain in peace. my ancestors built the synagogue in Toledo which was then turned into a church after the inquisition :(
