Too much FRUCTOSE leads to Type 2 Diabetes,OBESITY & HEART DISEASE.+ Since the 70's percentage increases in DIABETES have been DIRECTLY proportional to increases in FRUCTOSE market share. The U.S. provides agribusiness with CORPORATE WELFARE so fructose remains inexpensive. FRIEDMANITE FASCIST REPUBLICANS would call this "PRIVATIZING profits & socializing losses".

That was a bottle of corn syrup, NOT high fructose corn syrup. They're two different things.

The removal was in response to negative public perception resulting from the discovery of dangerous levels of MERCURY in HIGH-FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. Apparently it has become a liability to defend the sweetener.
