I love these sounds! Someday we will have a true 24 hour race in the usa on a true road course with cars of this caliber...I am not holding my breathe though....Until then I will rely on people like you posting these awesome videos of the sights and sounds of the 2nd greatest motorsports event in the world. bravo!

we have and have had it for quite sometime...the Daytona 24hrs only its run with Daytona Prototypes and GT cars, no more Ford vs. Ferrari like in the 60's...unfortunately i fear racing like this will NEVER catch on in america like NASCAR, or at least on some level where it can be seen on tv other than the speed channel. and thats a real shame because we are deprived of racing in its purest form, the test of man and machine where the driver needs more skill then to simply turn left

yea, i feel the same way. i'm from the US too. the one thing i like about the Daytona Prototypes and Grand Am though, is that they are pure. they run with 100 octane gas and are really loud (louder the better) because of not as many noise restrictions as the ALMS. but they're not as exciting to watch at the le mans cars because it's a spec series.

It was a great result for nissan 3rd in class 1st of all 2010 specification cars on the track. The drivers and crew look like they were having fun can't wait to see them next year.
