Absolutely superb cine film - thank you. Paddock Wood Electrical Control Room (ECR) was in full operation by that time. Some of the staff from Paddock Wood ECR went on to Easteligh ECR. Eastleigh is now a major control centre with the further electrification in the area. What a wonderful archive film! Thanks.

There was one Q1 normally stabled around Hither Green depot that was immaculate and in pristine condition , I have a photo to proove it !!!

I suspect close to Electrification as 3rd rail in place ,and that Q1 does look rather grimey and clapped out !!

Sadly, this is all I have. The line does seem to have been unfairly overlooked, especially when you contrast this to the miles of film that exist of the branch which used to depart from the other platform at Paddock Wood...
