To weigh 250 pounds dry, shredded you have to quadruple the amount of availble test in your body. The end. Don't tell me diet is equally as important. There is a monumental difference between 200 pounds shredded and 250. Yes, years of IGF-1 and AAS use can take a 200 pound bodybuilder all the way up to 250 in lean condition.

Jay Cutler is big primarily because it has long muscle bellies. Just look at the long head of his triceps - it extends in the contracted position almost to the elbow, unlike the long head of first bodybuilder in the video. Sergio Oliva and Arnold are also blessed with the same attributes; in Sergio's case he has long muscles and correspondingly short tendons throughout his main muscle groups.
Genetically long muscle bellies are unusual. Period.
Well, it's the same thing - extraordinary muscle length in both these muscle groups, the deltoids and traps.
Muscle length is fundamental to growth potential; and it's entirely genetic, just your like height or the size of your feet.
Lastly, even if one is of slight build to begin with, if he has long bellies then he can reach extraordinary growth. Provided he of course trains. Just look at Larry Scott in his early years, and then later with those massive arms.
So many new guys coming up have ultra long bellies. Look's like all their muscles anchor directly into the bonme without a taper or tendons or anything. What fucking planet do these guys come from and where were they before?
They've always been around. Before, as in say a generation ago, there were less guys training - as opposed to today. At the same time, there are many guys out there with extraordinary potential who never end up stepping into a gym, just as there are many who plug away with weights and achieve relatively little in their gains.
I think there's alot of evidence that training focuses are shifting from solid hard work to blood volume. There are dozens of guys from the 80's and 90's that deflated certain areas of their physiques in pursuit of a huge chest and or back. You just can't do that. Some very gifted bodybuilders with large muscle bellies ruined their physique by pounding their joints and tendons to hard. Tendon shapes and dimensions vary greatly.

Maybe it was the lighting or something but in that last video where Jay weighed in at 289-290 he looked more cut. For this video I guessed that he would be 300 pounds because the definition wasn't there. I know he's got his 3 Sandows now and that was his goal, so I hope he's taking the Olympia serious this year. It would suck to see him just mail this one in.
You should research steroids before you post. Steroids are synthetic derivitives of testosterone. They make you recover faster which in turn allows you to train longer and harder. Of course all these guys are using them. But training several hours a day and eating 700 grams of protien a day does wonders too.
I never see jay do abs , i know on one video he said he does them 3 times a week. I think on one video he did do some leg raises. Love the rope flared extensions i usually do them at the end but will try them for a warm up next workout.

Tribulus is just bull shit. If you can get it at GNC it's probably bull shit.... in fact other than caffeine and protein, no supplement does what it's advertised as doing. People get some N.O. Explode with the thought that "this is gonna jack my workouts thru the roof I'm gonna get so pumped!" and they do, but just because they have that mind set. Placebo affect

Nope, the beta-alanine, creatines, sodiums, electrolytes, nutrients, herbs and chemicals in Xplode actually allow the muscles to repair and maintain size easier which translates into larger muscles. I win.

Jay Cutler is big primarily because it has long muscle bellies. Just look at the long head of his triceps - it extends in the contracted position almost to the elbow, unlike the long head of first bodybuilder in the video. Sergio Oliva and Arnold are also blessed with the same attributes; in Sergio's case he has long muscles and correspondingly short tendons throughout his main muscle groups.
Genetically long muscle bellies are unusual. Period.

Well, it's the same thing - extraordinary muscle length in both these muscle groups, the deltoids and traps.
Muscle length is fundamental to growth potential; and it's entirely genetic, just your like height or the size of your feet.
Lastly, even if one is of slight build to begin with, if he has long bellies then he can reach extraordinary growth. Provided he of course trains. Just look at Larry Scott in his early years, and then later with those massive arms.

So many new guys coming up have ultra long bellies. Look's like all their muscles anchor directly into the bonme without a taper or tendons or anything. What fucking planet do these guys come from and where were they before?

They've always been around. Before, as in say a generation ago, there were less guys training - as opposed to today. At the same time, there are many guys out there with extraordinary potential who never end up stepping into a gym, just as there are many who plug away with weights and achieve relatively little in their gains.

I think there's alot of evidence that training focuses are shifting from solid hard work to blood volume. There are dozens of guys from the 80's and 90's that deflated certain areas of their physiques in pursuit of a huge chest and or back. You just can't do that. Some very gifted bodybuilders with large muscle bellies ruined their physique by pounding their joints and tendons to hard. Tendon shapes and dimensions vary greatly.

@jmorgan87 is there a link where i could look this up? i guess it makes sense. theres this BB named joel stubbs who has a huge upper body but tore tenons above both knees and has never been able to bring his legs up to match the rest of his body(he says its due to the trama to his knees and quads). never thought there was a direct correlation between muscle growth and joint healthother than the obivous limit that lifting withpain in the joints would have or time off from the gym to heal a joint

Maybe it was the lighting or something but in that last video where Jay weighed in at 289-290 he looked more cut. For this video I guessed that he would be 300 pounds because the definition wasn't there. I know he's got his 3 Sandows now and that was his goal, so I hope he's taking the Olympia serious this year. It would suck to see him just mail this one in.

You should research steroids before you post. Steroids are synthetic derivitives of testosterone. They make you recover faster which in turn allows you to train longer and harder. Of course all these guys are using them. But training several hours a day and eating 700 grams of protien a day does wonders too.

I never see jay do abs , i know on one video he said he does them 3 times a week. I think on one video he did do some leg raises. Love the rope flared extensions i usually do them at the end but will try them for a warm up next workout.
