how do i installTAR files? like when i download something i get TAR files instead of dmg files

@Silverstreak202 Double-click the TAR file like the DMG file in the video, drag the App out into your Applications folder, and then instead of ejecting a DMG file, just delete the TAR file and the folder that was "untarred".

Great video. The latest version has a vindow that moves the Skype application into the Applications folder. Unfortunately for me Skype does not open. The icon bounces in the dock for a moment but nothing else happens.
