Last I checked, one of the points of punk was to be accepting especially when it comes to different music. Since the beginning of punk, it never mattered what the sound was. From glam and garage rock of The MC5 and New York Dolls, the techno beats of Suicide and Devo, even to the indie/wave sounds of Television and Elvis Costello. Punk is not a good thing to fight over, especially when it comes to being called a poseur. Acceptance is punk and if you can't except this music then go fuck yourself
