Pretty unsafe guys! The two guys on the roof ladders need proper PPE like bunker pants coat and helmet and gloves!! And the ff coming out on the ladder bails need a belay line to make this exercise safe!
I like the part where neither of the guys on the ladders are wearing helmets....oh and the part where the people bailing arent tied off. Awesome. Way to go! Good example!
When I was learning the ladder bail the training officer required a firefighter to foot the ladder at all times during the training and a rope attached to a BA or harness for safety .
At my department you have to be 18. Homeschooled doesn't matter. We have some junior firefighters who learn and assist in other ways until they turn 18. Talk to your local volunteer department chief and see what their rules are.
