  • Does anybody know how they did that? I mean how they got that viewing without showing the camera in the mirror..Anyway, maybe it`s not a mirror and the actor is in front of the camera... I just want to know how they did it

  • What a weird movie..First time that a movie made me think about life so much and after watching it i am still thinking about the movie about 2 weeks now.. I assume thats should be the purpose of all films..making people confused or smthing..love it anyway..especially this scene.

  • Fuck man this incredible. The kind of shot you dream of as an aspiring filmmaker. It's not incredibly important but amazing nonetheless and I can't imagine the troublr this was to shoot. WOW

  • I love the POV of this movie.

Many have tried, but none have come out so successful

  • anyone notice this is exactly like the house in peep show?

  • Very good work!

  • This isn't point of view this is very well done subjective shooting though. Where the camera replaces the subject, not just the view of the subject.

  • Feels like I'm wearing his face.

  • It's not a mirror - the actor is in another room, mimicking the movements of the cameraman. They did the same thing in Terminator 2 in the scene where they take the chip out of it's head. Real Arnie in 1 room, fake one in another. Also helps that Linda Hamilton has a twin, LOL

  • I think you see his face in his sister's dream and when he's dead. Not trying to be anal.

  • The right hand in the basin has a ring on it, whereas the guy's equivalent left hand reflected in the fake mirror does not.

  • @AussieRoadshow Ho the fuck did you catch that?

  • A friend told me about it. Gaspar Noe was in Chile a few days ago and he talked about the movie in a forum for students of cinema. Gaspar ususally is also the camera operartor, hes very good at it ;)

  • @NastyDingo thanks for the info Bro!! :)

  • I don't agree on camera movement in sec 19 when he touches his face with his right hand.

  • Gaspar is a genius check out his new movie The golden Suicides

  • great movie and dmt will explain alot as to why were here reasearch it , make some just look up a tek on google its fairly easy and get urself some mimosia root bark online , dmt is and is to be a respected and sacred substance to be used with care and not used recreatonally but instead used to find out what we truly are and capable of

  • @BigBadDipper i agree...I have had a few trips (at burning man actually along with e which makes it last longer) and I always tell people 'this is NOT a recreational drug'...very heavy substance but you can really tap into some incredible things with it once you get over the initial fear/ feeling of having your spirit and soul compressed to a a few cubic inches within you.

  • How about the facing mirrors in Inception? That must have been difficult to pull off.

  • It took me a while to realize he was blinking when it kept getting dark lol

  • Could be a separate shot of oscar and they digitally put that shot in the mirror

  • I'm quite curious as to how they were able to accomplish this shot, too, but I'm pretty sure they just added some sort of special effects onto the mirror. Creating a symmetrical bathroom through a hole to imitate a mirror to get this shot would be rather ridiculous.

  • @eybaebae

Hes standing in the middle of a door wall that leads to another room.

  • The only time we see Oscar's face the whole movie.

  • @BlackHoleSun1921 Yes..

  • @yaprasad2003 hmm well thats if you aren't counting when you see him dead on the floor in the stall in the void

  • @BlackHoleSun1921 No, you see it when he dies. And other various points in the movie.

  • @ASFUNNYASCANBE Oh shit, you're right.

  • @BlackHoleSun1921 you also see it when he dies *spoiler* xD

  • @BlackHoleSun1921 This is the only time we see his entire face. We also see the side of his face when he is laying dead on the ground after being shot in the bathroom.

  • @BlackHoleSun1921 when he dies?

  • @BlackHoleSun1921 There's another scene in the bathroom like this, but it's an after life nightmare

  • Not to be mean but saying this is the best shot in Enter The Void is like declaring just one of Van Gogh's paintings as his best.

  • @ModstRob

I second that. The crane shot following the frenchman as he flees from the crime scene is pretty special too. But so are the scenes at the end in the sex hotel. And about 90% of all the other shots. An incredible piece of cinematography.

  • How the bloody hell??!

  • Ofcourse its not a mirror, but just another room. :P

  • @kevingrin I think so.. but the cameramen handled this???

  • @yaprasad2003 What do you mean?

  • @yaprasad2003 Gaspar Noe was the camara operator in this shot. Oscar was in anhoter room in front, and the mirror is just a glass.

  • @NastyDingo :) ohh how you know about this???

  • @kevingrin it's not another room its just visual effects in the mirror.

  • @TheDM75 That could be to. But It could easely be another room behind it when het turns the light of and walks out the bathroom the whole screen is black. Thats where the cut can be.

  • @kevingrin I don't know if they still do those old school tricks lol but it could be.

  • big brother incorporated 365 days...

  • This movie is really fucking weird for me because I look just like this guy.

  • That part remind me of the P.O.V skit that College Humor make

  • It's really amazing!!
