Gaye was a very close friend.. We played together for over 30 years and I know for a fact that this moment was one of the happiest that he ever had..
The orchestra playing behind him was beautifully complimenting his guitar and many happy tears were shed in the audience that night as people listened to this performance. What musician wouldn't want to be sitting on a stage and playing music like this.. A high point in ANY career..
