I made my own rig for about $15 in parts. I have a video about it on my channel. Definitely worth it for those budget directors out there. Also, my rig has an extra top handle which makes it way more comfortable to hold with that center point of gravity distribution

Forget buying expensive steadycams or attempting to make quality ones at home. I've been using the $38 Cam Caddie with great results. All my shots are smooth and i can attach lights and a mic if need be.
