I love this video. It makes me feel so many things. I was not there... I did not have the honour of meeting Ramesh... Why do I feel this? My chakras respond to this compilation in such a way... I can only cry... Shree Ram Jay Ram!! Ramesh Balsekar!!!
Jeezes, viewed more then 43.000 times meanwhile. Dying made Ramesh more popular dan ever :-) Hearing this song again after a long time brings tears to.
Just big thank you for posting this amazing video. It always makes me cry hearing this song and watching the video. Sending big cosmic hug to all of you
Can anyone help me understand the concept of "Universal consciousness"? How do I experience it? Is it the soul of the trio-"Body, Mind and Soul"? Currently I am reading a personal religion of your own by Ramesh. It has given a very different way of looking at the events happening around me.-Peace
@penandsword88 You can't experience it. If you look within you can "see"and "be in" the "Universal consciousness". Actually you are always seeing it and being in it, but because the focus is outside one isn't aware of it.
@penandsword88 It's a happening that comes through meditation, which is also speculated to be the natural release of DMT (dimethyltryptamine). Meditation isn't the only path, you can also take an effective dose of an active hallucinogen. A near-death-experience can also cause Universal consciousness to occur. In some cases, a stroke can cause this experience to happen (search "stroke of insight").
@penandsword88, @penandsword88, first of all, sorry for my late reply :-) I can read that you are a sincere spiritual seeker, since you are reading his book, which gave you a different way of looking at the events happening around you. Seems his 'therapy' had effect. :-)
You wrote 'Peace' at the end of your posting. If that means you experienced peace yourself , then you experienced / understood the concept of universal consciousness already.
It is wrong to say that If something is to happen, then it will happen and thereby not being involved. Not involved or non-involvement does not mean non-attachment or to be detached.....
I have been playing this video repeatedly since hearing the news of Ramesh's death on 27th Sept. Ironically I used to skip the post- talk bhajans in favor of a smoke outside, yet now find this video more moving than many of the speaking ones. Thank you for this treasure.
I asked this question also before. And the answer I got was: "artist = praful, album = Bhajans voor Ramesh. CD for sale at ramesh's place in Bombay."
I don't life there nor plan to vist it so I unforunately haven't been able to get the song on mp3 neither. I haven't found an online place where it's buyable or downloadable either.
I always play this song on youtube when I want to sit down to "express" my gratitude about what his teachings, and what it has done for me.
I totally agree with what you wrote: 'But a felt some of his expressions are a bit dualistic'.
There is no way to avoid dualistic expressions. Way Liquirman, a publisher of ramesh' books, said: 'nothing can be said, so there is always more to say. Language is always dualistic.
to Bonimacx: Ok, I meant, for instance one of his framed quotes states:
"So long as there is "me" let me never forget "thee" o Lord!" - this is absolutely dualistic point of view, you should agree. Nothign of Advaita here at all.
i totaly agree this is a absolutely dualistic point of view. But nothing of advaita here? What do you mean? If Ramesh seems not a pure 'true-advaita' teacher to you, Try another one. Karl Renz, Mooji, Tony Parsons... plenty of choice. I've met several of them, and they all admit they use dualistic point of views. Advaita means 'not-two' and try's to explain that everyting (including so called dualistic point of views) comes out of 'ONE', the source or whatever we like call it.
to Bonimacx(3): In true Advaita there is no Personified Source which has its own "Will" which is to be accepted by living beings. There is no Will at all. Everything simply happens as one process, without levels in it and we all are simply expresions of this Oneness, whithout any particular intention or agenda.
in my opinion Ramesh is a Master in 'true advaita'. If you listen to him till the end you'll hear him often saying: 'I AM / YOU ARE' is the only truth. But even that saying is a concept he explains too. Again: Whatever he, Jezus, Buddha, whoever say's / write's is dualistic.
to Bonimacx(2): Then he says: "Whatever happens to anyone is the will of Source or God". Here it sounds a bit as Calvinistic protestant teaching stating that omnipotent God is the only source of everything and all His creatures are simply doing His blessed will, but still remain separate beings..
to Bonimacx: Ok, I see what you mean. I know many of Ramesh's expressions are non-dualistic, but I was a bit confused with some of them showing he believes in the existance of obviously separate "Lord", with whom we are or supposed to be "one". If I am wrong, please correct me.
there are many spoken postings about satsangs with Ramesh on youtube if you like. I've posted some of them too. This is one of the none spoken clips and has been viewed by more then 17.000 people already. People seem to like none spoken clips too. :-)
sory psstheyyou, my and your destiny made me block you.
Maybe you pupup under another name, so it be. I'll probably block you again. But hey, it's fun, the antichrist (you) is as much a part of the 'lila' then its counterpart. :-)
Ramesh is one of gurus who understand that a person who want destroy the Ego have to understand that Ego is not his construction; it's the contsruction of God (but for undertsand ultimatly, we have to know that God is a concept)
i am glad to see you all enjoying this video clip, which is the introduction i have cut from the DVD's 'let life flow' which i have bought at ramesh' house three years ago. I was there for several weeks. Amazing advaita teacher he is.

He also say's: 'there is neither destiny, nor free will.'
Now there will be people reading this and conclude Ramesh sounds like a nihilist.
Now, what is he? A non 'true-advaita' teacher, a calvinist, a nihilist or maybe nothing more then a kapitalist?
Who cares?
