seems like this is a combination of the "once we all walk through solid objects" collaboration with johannes and "we took the deafening murmer down" from the new cd.
Agreed, the drums are somewhat superfluous. They could just as well use samples. Hello, Justin Broadrick. You should hear FFB's collaboration with the Canadian two-piece Nadja. That is really something. I happen to love glaciers, myself.
maybe the drum monotone wwas exactly what the piece asked for. we are dealing with mere sonictry and not some much as "sophisticated creativity". I love this shit it's intensed, surreal and saturatingggggggggggg............................. LIVE that is! hahahahaha
Rather boring... There is a lot of really excellent guitar feedback music: Neil Young. Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music. Even Sonic Youth. But, I'm sorry to the individuals involved in this, it's dead boring. ...and the drummer isn't very creative in his approach now is he??
yeah sure its easy but do you understand that this is about creating a sound? From very little. That's the priniple of minimalism. to do from so little. that is what the drone/soundscape thing is all about!!!

Fear falls burning is excellent.. This recording does no justice, and unfortunately instead of surrounding surreal it sounds like distorted noise.

i don't grasp the concept of the whole drone/soundscape thing... this is so easy to make, you don't even have to know any chords!

As slow as a glacier. I could do without the drums though.
