back when saturn was accomplishing it's goal in selling millions of the only real saturns on the planet, the beloved s-series I own an 02 sl2,my aunt owns a 01 sl1,and my cousin used to own a '00 sl that literally saved his life, guess what kind of car he's looking to buy now, another sl!!!!R.I.P. Saturn and your beloved s-series
I own a old 91 the first year that came out and I still drive it today and has over 300,000 miles on it so I dont know what you people's problem is on this car.
Yeah, nothing like helping the American economy out by buying some slope car. Here's hoping you don't ever have the money to go through with that threat, ya toad.

i owned a 2000 saturn sl1 ...nothing great about it..still looked like ones they made 15-20 years ago..body and engine very good transmission was garbage!...way overpriced!...i only buy south korean now!..will never buy american again!..till they get thier heads out of thier asses and build quality cars the people can afford!...if korea can do it so can detroit!..vulture capitalism dosent work!!!
This almost sounds like spam. I had the same car, and it was fantastic. It was cute, safe, reliable, got great milage, but more than anything else, I looked forward to getting up for work so I could drive my Saturn.
Saturn was a great division of GM; IN FACT, THEY WOKE UP GM AND TOLD THE OTHER DIVISIONS LIKE CHEVROLET THAT IF THEY WANTED TO SELL CARS, CLEAN UP YOUR ACT. SATURN WAS TO COMPETE WITH THE IMPORTS, AND EVEN THOUGH THE FIRST SATURNS LOOKED LIKE OLDSMOBILES, THEY WERE A GREAT CAR AND WERE RELIABLE! A FRIEND OF MINE HAS A 96 SL1, AND HE'S STILL DRIVING IT; IT'S BEEN A RELIABLE CAR FOR HIM, UNLIKE ANOTHER FRIEND OF MINE WHO'S ON HIS 3RD CAVALIER. GO FIGURE!
DO THEY STILL GIVE BIRTHDAY CARDS?

The funny thing is that this guy now sells Hondas, Nissans, and Mercury. So much for Saturn!

The Corolla and S-Series are in the same league IMO, but the Corolla is a bit bland.
