The Cobalt SS uses the same principle as the Corvette. Cost efficient top level performance. They're siblings in several ways. From the Similarily designed taillights, to the performance/dollar value. I still can't believe people question that. Duh! Of course the Vette is better. The Cobalt has the spirit of the Vette in a smaller (and yes slower) more fuel efficient package. These commercials kick ass.
Very nice commercial. Again the Cobalt being the sibling to the Vette, well done to the commercial advertising firm.
However, the Cobalt still doesn't have the handling and braking capabilities that the Vette has. Well I guess I'm getting ahead of myself.....the Cobalt is supposed to be little brother...so? So he should....barely make the same numbers? Who knows? Nonsense.
SS/TC Balts are pretty amazing in those categories considering it hows the FWD record for Nurburgring, beating cars that where easily double the price of the Balt SS/TC.....
Well, I hardly think they're calling them "siblings" in the sense that they perform similarly. They're just saying that they're both Chevys, and in this particular ad, they're basically saying that a Cobalt is less likely to get speeding tickets because people expect less from it.
Then again, as grometsc pointed out here, the SS has been known to keep up with and even beat cars that cost twice as much. HP-wise, it could never beat a Corvette, but it's still among the best in it's class.
No Surprise that it was the Caprice that represented the cop of the family, since it was and still is the most liked police vehicle amongst law enforcement officers.
the new chargers are catching on. we have 2 charger cop cars here, and i read in an AOL artical that some police officers are wanting the charger over the crown vic.
Yea, the Dodger Chargers are becoming more popular here in California. I've seen several cities where they have already replaced their entire fleet with Chargers. They sure look mean.
But they can't get any parts for the Charger yet. Keep the Vic, for now. But the Charger is much more than looks, the beast is bad! 167 MPH. And it's been know to run down some sport bikes too.

Apparently you don;t know what a Car is. Especially the New SS with 260 HP under a 4 Cylinder and 5.5 to 60 Seconds and all under 25K.
