Who needs religion when you have Martyn's voice? ethereal beauty of the highest order > so short that you are left yearning further like another dose of nicotine after the miserable fag..
No tengo ni puta idea de lo que dicen, pero la musica que hacian, o hacen pero sobre todo la que hacian me sigue llegando como musica y me hace sentir muy bien.
That commenter is obviously an idiot. They're screenname is based around Lady Gaga, one of the biggest ripoff artists the world has ever known. People think she's original, but she's just Terri Bozzio, Nina Hagen, and Lene Lovich in a modern package. And not half as good as either three.
Not to be nit-picky =) but I think you mean Dale Bozzio, not Terry Bozzio, since Terry was the dude (drummer) for Missing Persons, and Dale, the singer, was his wife at the time.
But I agree with what you said about Lady Gaga for sure. And I of course love Eyeless in Gaza as my previous comments will attest.
Increíble , cuantos años . 5 estrellas y directamente a favoritos. En parte entraron de lleno en los estilos post-industriales , mezclando perfectamente los sonidos de aquella época.

That's my favorite as well. I had a spiritual experience involving this song and this band. I only have a compilation with their songs and one album, it's amazing.
Yesssss ! Good choice. I've seen them twice, two.. astonishing performance.. and these guys were working beside their music trip. Definitively part of the indie/cold wave spirit of the 80's. Thnks.
hi, orphicsonnet- i love all of rust red, whenever i put it in my cd player, it has to live there for about 3 weeks at a time! it's so beautiful, the lyrics read like poetry. I wish more people could appreciate them... does that make us special?! haha
Yes. Rust Red September was and still is a personal favorite of mine. I listen to it so much in the eigthies. "Rust red" and "Drumming the Beating Heart". In the similar vein, I could put "Another Setting", "Architecture & Morality", "Polar Exposure". greetings from lisbon.
Nuneaton's finest. Just ordered the "Saw You in Reminding Pictures" DVD - can't wait!
Martyn and Peter are truly unsung heroes of 1980s pop. EIG were/are so atmospheric, and evocative. "Drumming the Beating Heart" is particularly haunting and powerful.
What a lovely song! One of my all time favorites from a seemingly forgotton gendre (at least in the states). Still fire up my Eyeless in Gaza, Monochrome Set and Durutti Column disks...
One of my top fave band ! Thanks for the vid, I knew and loved the song, but didn't know the vid.

Very 80s - sort of Dexy's Midnight smiths, Too much drums and horrible horns. They need something - like guitars or something

Possibly the second best song on Drumming after the awesome Picture the Day. Regardless, this is a fantastic effort - shame it was so short.
