  • Melodic Motorhead- don't get much better!

  • Brian Robertson is such a great guitarist - hats off Robbo!

  • no matter how much I raise the volume everytime I listen to this album it will always sound too quiet.... it's a mystery... xD xD

  • One of the best guitar riffs ever to start a song.

  • @TurboThrash Ram jam's black betty.

  • this was still a clarke riff, so it can't be bad :p

  • I put my prom tux on to to this song back in1984. Jammed it out while I put on my cupebuckl...cumperlickl....cumperbandle......THAT THING THAT GOES AROUND YOUR WAIST !!!!! Best Motorhead song ever !!!!!!

  • Robertson!!!

  • Another Perfect Day is easily in my top five Motorhead Albums, and this song tops the list of the best song on the album for me.

  • Another perfect day est certainement l'un de mes albums préférés de motorhead : La rencontre improbable de lemmy et de Robbo a été certes de courte durée mais quel son !!! Que de souvenirs sur Shine et Back on a funny farm

  • a perfect song

  • Motörlizzy

  • great song but i thought lemmy hated the romantic movement that was brewing at the time?

  • ORGASMATRON!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah I'm inclined to call this the best Motorhead record. But then I think - 'No wait... The Ace of Spades! No wait... Hammersmith! No wait... Iron Fist! No wait... Orgasmatron! No wait.... etc.etc.

  • By far the best Motorhead guitarist. He brought out the best in the band and made them more musically intricate. Don't get me wrong, I love all the other M.H guitarists especially Eddie and Wurzel.

  • from wich DVD is this concert? I wanted!

  • first LP i've ever heard from motörhead, back then.

    still the best

  • What a song!!!!!!!!!!

  • Guys

There is a long stroy here. Robbo was the best Motorhead guiatarist by a mile. Yet he's an R&B influenced player not R&R like Fast Eddie. He woould not play old Motorhead songs and his dress sense was too silly for a R&R band. He simply did not fit, yet if Lemmie and Robbo had got onb, it could have been a great band as the R&B and R&R influences could merge.

have to say this song sounds more like Thin Lizzy than Motorhead (accepting Lemmie's grovelly vocals).

  • fabulous LP. Underrated and I could never figure out why.

  • Красавчики!

  • Good guitarist but something isn't right. D'ya know what I mean?

  • @Alembic25 You got the right to think so, but I respectfully disagree. I love Another Perfect Day

  • Lemmy is GOD!!

  • i wish they'd rerecord this song with phil and mickey on it, i seen them last week in MN and it was absolutely amazing, maybe because it was just so loud haha but mickey and phil are very underrated, it'd be cool to hear a newer version

  • @azure21300 just saw em last night in NYC at the best buy theater. Loved that they did this trak. great show, Cutch was excellent too.

  • Robbo is unic! the melody guitar is perfect!!!

  • Esta cancion es demasiado buenaa!!! Robertson idoloo completooo!!! :'( !!!!!!!

  • confirmed, motörhead in Costa Rica

  • an amazing album!

  • How can anyone dislike this?????!!?????

  • Another perfect song!

  • Fuck I hope Motorheads March 2011 gig in Melbourne falls outside've my swing with work...more of the younger generation should checkout this band, they kick the living shit outt've the faggot crap that's getting bandied around as rock'n'roll these days...This song blows me away!

  • @TheSloughfegkillers Fuck work; Motorhead haven't been to Melbourne since '07!

    Rockin' the festival hall!

  • Prolly the best song off this album..one rock journalist said he saw Lemmy bust all FOUR strings on his Rickenbacker bass on the opening chord to "Ace of spades" live..is that even possible??

  • I need to start drinking and smoking so I sound like Lemmy :D

  • Those were the days,,,, Those were Motorhead

  • One of the greatest ever, I love this song!

  • not only would his bloody head explode, his whole stinking body would vapourize into dust to be swept unto the carpet of time.

  • This is probably my favourite motorhead song.

  • lets see that bloody wanker justin bieber try this song if has the balls.

  • @captainshadowdreamer he couldn't just getting close to a motorhead gig would make his little pussy ass ears bleed

  • this is 1 of there best albums, great tune, and brian tears that guitar up

  • Ohh that Les Paul looks delicious enough to eat.

  • motorhead is so metal!

  • Robbo knows how to play guitar!

  • @MrStraight6 fast eddie knows it better and würzel and phil campbell too robbo didnt fit into motörhead they are to heavy for him

  • @Rammstein7012 it's a matter of taste. I think that the original formation was the best, but I've always admired Robbo's work a lot

  • @MrStraight6 thats right a matter of taste ,and its a good thing that there are lots of diffrent tastes ,because it would be extremely boring if we all would listen to the same music, and i like the original line up was really cool, but i think i like the newest formation with mikkey, phil campbell and lemmy more ,power drummer, great guitarist and then lemmy ,to me thats just perfect ,but again thats a matter of taste \m/

  • guitar sounds like it's outta boston or some shit

  • brians style didnt mix well with motorhead he was just too melodic to play with motorhead

  • Great song but the guitar is shit just not heavy enough to be true 'Head!

  • I'm glad to find that there are other people who think this album is terrific. While not a favourite of Motorhead fans who considered it a deviation from the band's previous sound, this album contained some excellent melodies, guitar playing and some damn fine songwriting, in general. It proved that Motorhead was capable of thinking and playing out of the box.

  • I love this record, not only because it is the ex-Wild

Horses and Thin Lizzy Brian Robertson, but because this

disc has a particular sound that gave this man

    and deserves all the respect

  • I love this record, not only because it is the ex-Wild

Horses and Thin Lizzy Brian Robertson, but because this

disc has a particular sound that gave this man

    and deserves all the respect

  • great song, thx mate!

  • Damn ! This gritty vocals are perfect

  • thank you lemmy for this song

  • so good to hear likeminded people. Motorhead with Robbo? simply fucking awesome!!! Just a pity the guy threw it all away: Motorhead could have been the greatest rock and roll band of all time..

  • one of the best period!

  • yeah, i totally agree. but why does it get slated??? crazy!

  • One of the best Motorhead albums for sure! Too bad the guitar solo on this promo video is edited & shortened -- listen to the album version and you'll see what I mean. Also, the video fades out, while the studio track has that great, crashing ending, with Lemmy screaming "... and I got miiiine!" Guess they had to trim the song to make it more "video friendly".

  • In my opinion Robertson was the best guitarist Motorhead ever had. Another Perfect Day was probably their best album. It's my opinion. Shame Robbo kinda went really crap. Lizzy, Motorhead, what a CV.

  • so true;saw this line up twice-their best ever!!!!

  • @MrMegabreath Agreed: best Album from Motörhead!

  • @dekkard All albums are best!

  • @MrMegabreath Robertson nearly kill motorhead, and this album that it's perfect (because of lemmy) take away some rudeness that was the sign of motorhead.

  • @coscoso As you know, Robertson replaced Clarke on the US tour. He came into a band his style didn't particually fit and Motorhead finished their tour in good shape. Then Another Perfect Day was released. Die You Bastard, Dancing on Your Grave, Shine, One Track Mind, Rock It, Back at the Funny Farm etc. Robbo's guitar stands out and is fantastic You find one crap track on that album. Remember, Motorhead play tracks from that album nowadays live (even though Campbell is no Robbo).

  • @MrMegabreath Fast Eddy Clark is my hero. It's not so much the skill, it's more the style that does it for me. But why have a discussion, we both love Motorhead don't we? Who cares who plays the guitar, as long as it's Lemmy on bass...

  • @MrMegabreath

ahh come on mate get real very good axeman very good album no complaints there but "best" no i dont think so

  • @barnymartin Still to this day I think this is the best Motorhead album. I first got into them with the Overkill album (Yeah I'm in my 40's You maybe older than me, idk) then Bomber (Which I like more than Ace Of Spades). The only album I didn't really like much was "March or Die". Motorhead always deliver as you know. It's my opinion as I said in my post. As for the "Later" albums Inferno hit's the spot.

  • @MrMegabreath

i agree that motorhead always do the business on albums and always knock my socks off live but im 16 not 40 +!!! just an avid fan

  • @MrMegabreath im 12 years old and i love motorhead i went to the concert last year it was amazing!

  • @ryder77rex First time I saw them I was 19 @ Hammy. That's another great thing about them is that there is "No age" It's not fashion for an age group it's just good Rock that appeals to an audience irrelivent of age.

  • @barnymartin i dont know mate this could be one of there more thoughtful songs, and they've done a lot of thoughtful songs

  • @aidsbrigade

as thoughtful as a headbutt to the face but for motorhead pretty much so yes

  • This kicks so much ass it's silly

  • God Damn! this is the best era for motorhead. more melodic and diverse. too bad brian was being a retard and an asshole so he got kicked out.

  • Very very good song!!!

  • absolutely great ! thanks to brian ...

  • watch him hit the mike, don't mess

  • saw them few hours ago :)

and i got mine too :)

  • I can't find any tab of this pure masterpiece ...

  • rock out with my cock out, that's how I get mine

  • oh, good memories

love this song and the album

  • Reminds me of good times....Wonderful song.

  • see lemmy today ,@ Hamburg , ;)

    MOTÖRHEAD !!!

  • im going to see them on sunday XD

  • Amazing classic Rock song!!!

  • Dont know why but every song from Motorhead makes me wanna buy a bike and just drive. No matter how old I am in that moment

  • Robbo is Awesome

  • SUCH A FUCKING CLASSIC SONG

  • this could be in the list of Motörhead-Top-5-songs of all time. Wonderful guitar intro. And the the bass rolls in at 0:20. The growling voice "here's the story..." Fine lyrics. "refuse disposal refugee" Great, what can one say? in this 83 video Lemmy IS a rock and roll preacher - head up to the mic, and rickenbacker thunder. He was and is the coolest m...er in the universe. Robbo never fitted to the rest, anyway. A great guitar man.

  • @Anrheiner111

I couldn't agree more with you my friend...

  • oddly enough this is the first motorhead i listened to, 1983 was like year one for me for discovering music.

  • 03 09 2009 my head have blowoff when i have ear this song!

  • Great song from an underrated album! Brian's fashion sense was questionable at times during that tour though, LOL.

    Shine!

  • someone knows the guitar chords of this song???

  • C-D-C-D-C-D-C-B-C-A-B-C

  • i remember they played this on halloween 2008 in dublin

    and the pits were amazing!

  • The biker subculture needs to be reassociated with the metal subculture!!!

  • Everyone has a track that reminds them of great times....this is it for me !!!???### Nowadays I go to bed when I used to go out, ah well, thats life I guess.

  • another perfect record, surely their best. if you like it get Live at king biscuit, or Manchester apollo- another perfect day tour, all of them bootlegs, must be the best motorhead ever

  • MONSTER tone. Brian is the man.

  • favourite album..killer solos on every track

  • Good song, ok album once you get into it. Have to say i prefer Phil's playing live on this track but its alright. Just not a fan of that awkward major chord at 0:09

  • There is nothing awkward about a B.

  • I saw then yestarday!! fuckin brutal awesome!!

  • cool riff eh !!Even my friends who aren't motorhead fans ALL love this one.

  • The album is awsome and Brian is gr8 just he was up his own ass, he throught he was Brian Robestson Super guest thats why they got rid of him plus he was torture to record with says Lem

  • Isn't this from one of the first Mtv Saturday night concert series in 1983? Iron Maiden live at the Rainbow '81 was the 2nd one followed by Micheal Jackson's Moonwalker concert. Actually I think this Motorhead was a mini concert.

  • Yeah, this really kicks ass! I always liked the way Lemmie plays the bass like a rhythm guitar, and sings up into the micro.

    Really great!

  • this rocks!

  • Robbo's the fucking guv'nor.

On paper this is a brilliant Motorhead lineup. Too bad they couldn't make it work...

Not many could fill fast Eddie's boots and Robbo was a risky but inspired choice. Killer riffs & great solos every time.

Sadly a bit too 'melodic' a player for Motorhead's core audience.

APD is a great album in it's own right tho.

  • RESPECT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • Still gives me goosebumps! Always have...

  • This isn´t just great Motorhead, but a fabulous rock n´roll tune.

  • So fucking great!!

  • oooooo that's good!!!!!!!:)

  • 16.12.08 ill have tickets to Hellsinki!!! Im so glad baby i dont care:)

  • I was there too! Awasome gig

  • does anyone know where to find the tab for this song???

  • nope, i got same promplem

  • Me to....:-(

  • Yeah I like a lot of stuff off Another Perfect Day. I have a Motorhead Greatest Hits cd that has most material from that. "I Got Mine" is one of my favorite tracks.

  • je bande

  • J'ai adoré cet album.

  • zajekurwabiste!!!!!!!!!

  • Brutal Brutal, Simply Brutal. One of my favourites song from Motorhead. That kind of track which will always makes you remember someone. And who is this guitarist ? first time I see him. He seems the Stranglers bassist indeed, that guy, hehe. Not bad, really. Whatever, Man, that burns !!!!!!!!!

  • the guitarist is Brian Robertson who was in Thin Lizzy before Motorhead, he's an allright guitarist but he was a dickhead cos he wore tight pink spandex and refused to play Bomber at most gigs.

  • i dont hate spandex but if its pink than i understand ( i dont wear spandex )

  • Brian was better than an allright guitarist, he was really good. 'Another Perfect Day' is a great album and one of my favorites, but I knew that BR would not last with the band. He made them "very musical" and that was not the Motorhead style. Even Lemmy used to joke about this.

  • what were his reasons for not wanting to play bomber?

  • I never heard that before, and I really could not tell you why.

  • @mrfaeces

and he almost got killed by hells angels because at a meeting of HA he entered the stage in a green satinpants and ballerinas ... haha ^^

  • @mrfaeces fuck that Brian Robertson. that guy they have now is pretty good. i wish philthy was still drummer though...he was awesome.

  • @mrfaeces Ahaha, true! And ballet shoes on stage! Doesn't match with Motörhead's style! But he was a brillant guitarist, really. He speeded up MH & brought up excellent solos.

  • @mrfaeces man hes more than an alright guitar player hes the master of wah ya he was a bit of a douche but a amazingly underrated guitar player just like thin lizzy is an amazingly underrated band!

  • You can Definitely Hear the Thin LIzzy style/sound in there :58 secs in and about 1:50 seconds.I do want to get this on CD.

  • MOTORHEAD

    TROPOS ZWIS MAGES!!

  • I got mine too... :P

    one of their best songs!!!

  • No doubt Robbo was a good guitarist, i just don't think he suited Motorhead like Fast Eddie did

  • yeah i love this song is one of their best songs

    LET`s ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

  • Loipon Tha Sas To Pw Sta Ellinika Kai Opoios Goustarei As PArei Lexiko Na Katalavei Ti Lew... Oi Motorhead Einai H Kaliteri Mpanta Ston Kosmo Kai Auto To Cd Gamaei Olon Mas Tis Manes Apo Kolo!!! • My fave motörhead song

    I LOVE IT!!

im seeing the guysin concert this july!!!YAY

    Motörheadbanger 4 ever

  • Brian Lemmy Phil!!!! AI GAMITHITE OLOI GAMW!!!!!!! MOTORHEAD KAI GAMW TO MOUNI TIS MANAS SAS!!!!!!!!

  • Killer tune! 'Another Perfect Day' and 'Ace of Spades' were the pinnacle of Motorhead, period. Too bad the Robertson line-up didn't last longer.

  • you got me falling out my tree!

    brilliant song

at first i didn't think it was all that good then i realised how amazing this is!

  • The Best guitarist Of Motorhead Brian Robertson... IN my Opinion another perfect day is the best cd they made !!! Perfect songs!!! MOTORHEAD

  • WORD! Phil talor iz da shit. MOTorhead 4 Life dawg

  • I inevitably play this record for people who claim Motörhead 'play the same song over and over'... such an underrated and versatile band. I mean, this is more or less a Prog Rock / Blues record, and they somehow pull it off with the Motörhead style.

  • what tha fuck? Robbo rules, hes the best front guitar motorhead ever had, and another perfect day its a master piece of hard rock, thanks, in a great deal, to Robbo.

  • For Some reasom Lemmy Reminds me of a Outlaw Biker!!He has Partied with the Outlaws MC.

  • One of their best songs. Another perfect day is the secret diamond in their discography. shine and i got mine are their most soft and melodic tunes and if it wasn't for lemmy's voice people would think them as aor or ballads. i can't believe how amazing are motorhead at every kind of rock, metal, rock n roll, blues, ballads.

  • agree at 101%,but don't forget DANCING ON YOUR GRAVE.

  • Crappy dubbed edition! I prefer it live!

  • Awsome track, just had to listen to it again. Love it so much.

  • so good playin

  • så fucking good! robbo rules!!!!

  • ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THEIR BEST TUNES!

  • the drummer is a powerhouse

  • anyone have dancing on your grave with brian robertson- love to see it

  • PLEASE, PLEASE, somebody post "Another Perfect Day" it might not be a typical Motorhead song but its a GREAT track. I also love this album. Its hard-edged rock but with some awsome melodies in the mix.

  • So much heart and soul in this band, after Robertson and Clarke the band did not have the same energy--Lemmy always carries the day, but the guitar players mattered so much.

  • The Motorhead/Robertson album is a gem. There are so many songs on that album that deserve greater attention from Motorhead fans. Ass-kicking album from beginning to end. Personally, I find this to be one of my most favorite albums of all time (in this short life)--see my other posts for what this counts for. Not kidding, "Another Perfect Day" is a killer album.

  • MOTORHEAD F O R E V E R this song rulessSsSsS!!!

  • Someone please post an audio of "Another Perfect Day" -- don't care about video, please post the music. I am scheduled to take a vacation to Hell in two weeks, I need that song. Thank you.

  • My fave Motorhead album is "Another Perfect Day" with Brian Robertson. Some amazing songs on that album, one in particular, "Rock It" and "Another Perfect Day". Excellent album.

  • Right now, right here

    Ain't gonna let you disappear

Right now, this time, you got yours and I got mine

  • "I Got Mine"the only way Lemmy would ever get his,

is if a woman was on hard drugs,or he was paying her hard cash,he really must go down as the ugliest, creepiest bastard in the history of rock'n'roll. They did have some great tunes though.

    No offence Lemmy

  • Or he plays bass and lead vocals in a famous rock band ;). Lemmy's been laid more than every poster here combined.

  • Fantastic album - up there with On Parole [check out Fools on that album - fantastic track] and Overkill ! Rock n Roll baby"

  • awesome song from an awesome album one of the best from motorhead

  • a damn good song. "Be my lover My only One, be anything but dont be gone" lyrics that mean so much to me...

  • Loved this song when it was released. It's one of the best, and most underrated, hard rock songs of the 1980s.
