@CarlHammett I am not upset at all, and i don't treat it as a big thing as well, and their facial expressions are very normal too since lot musicians looks like that too, i said that because i really think they are wonderful players, sorry for the misunderstanding, I am a film music orchestrator.

That was awesome! It makes me kinda wish musicians dressed up in plain clothes for concerts. Classical music has just become so...stuffy, and needlessly so. Is it true that, in Italy, they will sing along or even cheer for particularly exciting cadenzas? If so, I'm moving to Italy :P
@throwscats Since when does more formal clothes have to mean stuffy? I've been to receptions where black tie has been the dress code and they have been anything BUT stuffy! So many people these days simply have no imagination.
@TheVaughan5 Since when is everyone on youtube super defensive and takes every comment personally? Oh wait, since always :P.
Look, dude, I simply meant that it's not appealing to a lot of people, from an outside perspective. The formal dress gives off either an uptight impression or an impression that classical is reserved for people with money. You can't clap for exciting cadenzas or even in between movements (in the US, I know there are other countries that differ in this).
@TheVaughan5 In any case, it has nothing to do with my imagination. It's kind of a thing. I'm 27, I work with "common" folk, for lack of a better word, and they all like hip-hop and football parties and this sort of thing. Trying to describe Vivaldi, to them, always leaves an impression that it's a different world than theirs and is somehow not a relateable form of music. This makes me sad, because classical music is EXTREMELY current if people would just listen.
@TheVaughan5 To end this lengthy reply, I simply meant that I wished classical artists would wear formal clothing more often. I enjoy the glamor of a recital, with champagne and everyone all dressed up. I do, I really love it. I wish people, in general, dressed up more often if they are able to.
All I meant is it would be nice if they dressed like normal people every now and again--normal as in how they normally would dress. Make sense?
These people are really having fun and loving the music! Bravo! Why do the violinists have what appears to be aluminum foil in the strings near the bridge of their instruments?
Makes me want to walk outside and kiss every Italian I see !! Absolutely wonderful. When did I last see an english orchestra perform with such elan....?
@AntoineS16 that's exactly what I wrote re some other concerto by Vivaldi. This is no less powerful and energetic than rock music, but far more sublime and elaborate.
Yo can find the CD "Fabio Biondi - Concerti per molti istrumenti" or "con molti istrumenti", I do not remember exactly if this is "per" or "con" (for or with).
He is the only one playing this piece so quickly, and I find it more exciting than other versions, which are at the "normal" tempo.
@renatoc3924 The cd that this piece and 6 others are featured is Fabio Biondi Europa Galante, Concerti per mandolini. I have it out from our public library but i'm sure it is available at Amazon.
@calmocaos No, c'è molto di più!
Our Red-Haired Priest (Vivaldi) never ceases to amaze us- brought to life by Fabio et EG- this is centuries of history brought to life, it must be black magic.. there can be no other explanation
