  • fuck christie, thanks to him i only recceive 4800 dollars a year for college, THANK YOU CHRIS CHRISTIE FOR DOING NOTHING!!!

  • @EIectroMania sorry about that but in a bankrupt state, everyone has had to sacrifice.

  • Guess what idiots...we've had "thin, healthy" looking people in there, and they've destroyed our state! Stop with the he's fat argument! It really does make you sound like total dipshits.

  • Wow, you know when the best you've got is that he's fat, you don't have any argument. Good one, genuises.

  • Why is this guy so fat?

  • christie wait till the weather gets warm............. the people will be protesting in the streets

  • republican or not, this guy is good, and even better he only gets better when he doesn't read off a script....i may not like he's going after unions but those nj unions are like walker in wi, no compromise

  • Christie for president 2012!!!!!!

  • Almost sounds like Ron Paul from Texas. Go Chris!

  • Wow, somebody who wants to change the way things are being done and all some people could say is that he is fat. I wish we had him here in IL! All they want to do here is tax and spend. They raised the corporate tax rate and the income tax. That is taking money out of peoples pockets. No money in my pockets, less for good and services. Government is getting too big,

  • @photog455 CUT the lifetime benefits unions get...period

  • Christie, go on weight watchers.

  • This man's balls drag the ground when he walks... sadly so does his gut. Something has to be done about that if he's going to avoid death in office from a heart attack.

Get healthy Chris. You are needed in the future. And we need you more than the worms.

  • Alot of conservative retarded types here. Hi morons. This fat boy is the enemy of working people and wants nothing but to pad his corporate fat cats bank accounts.

I'm talking about working people not sittin on your ass inherited money like Steve Forbes and your corporate thugs. Christie is just a loud mouth pampered overfed thug who whores for lobbyists. If you can't understand that then I feel sorry for you.

  • @omegapointil Just like a liberal. Call names and say he is out for the rich yet do nothing to disprove his figures and the common sense he talks about. What he talks about is finicial common sense.

  • The most liberal states in America are the most heavily taxed. Yet, these are the same states that are in the biggest financial mess. Proof that revenue is not the issue... spending is.

  • He's bankrolled by banks and multi-national corporations in a bid to destroy the middle class once and for all. Once he gets done with the unions, he's coming for your job too. Make no mistake about it. He wants your job outsourced and he wants your 401K. Your kids don't deserve the same education his kids are getting. You don't deserve to live a decent life. In Christie's world, there's only room for fat cats. Tilt the playing field way up & everybody else makes minimum wage.

  • @Vox91 That's quite a collection of lies you came up with. Shame on you. Put your creativity to better use.

  • fatass

  • @xNarutox19 if that is all you got to criticize him... go right ahead... KICK SOME DEM ASS YA FATASS...

  • @xNarutox19

    Liberal fucker.

  • This is real Hope and a breath of fresh air.

  • God bless Chris!!

  • Why is he using teleprompter like Obama? Republicans are against teleprompter:)

  • Totally, finally we dont have a toddler in there begging for money to waste..

  • THANK YOU NEW JERSEY!!!

    Christie/Rubio 2012!

Put Tom Ryan (WI) as Treasury Secretary and Ron Paul over at the Fed so they STOP printing dollars until we become like Zimbabwe!

Time to put ADULTS in power, not petty and self-serving ideologues who are running us into the ground. Bush was a disaster and Obama is a catastrophe... time to pull our sleeves up and fix this country!

Time to encourage economic growth and stop deficit spending.

This generation WILL NOT be the weak link!

  • wtf is up with the audio?

  • this guy is great!!

  • I LOVE IT!!!

He's schooling these tax-fattened hyenas big time.

Look at the face of the Democratic majority leader during the speech.

How sad, that these elected officials cannot see the forest for the trees.

  • this is the only person in a while with some brains and balls to say what needs to be done...hopefully he can get us on track.............god forbid we become canada

  • @axxa08 no one wants to be canada :)

  • simple...

the more money u make...the more taxes u should have to pay.

we dont have this problem in canada.

  • That would So cool if this guy really means this!

  • No worries, the Palin/Christie ticket will send Obama's sorry ass back to Chicago!

  • @prophetbyronmotley hell yeah

  • @prophetbyronmotley Yeah Palin is a brainiac and this guy is a maniac

  • @dpowellballs Obama is a SNOBISH know it all, who don't know SHIT, like 70% of Ivy League alums! I include George W. Bush in this because he is from the "skull and bones" elites. Rhode Scolar Bill Clinton IGNORED Sudan when they offered an ARRESTED Osama Bin Laden to the USA, Bush couldn't communicate to save his life and Obama, this STUBBORN socialist PRINTING and SPENDING dollars to where only Pesos have less worth! We NEED ordinary people in charge, like Palin and Christie!

  • @intelligentlman You think Christie is a man of the people? He was rich before he's even richer now, he bought his way into the US Attorney job-didnt go after corporate criminals, and is letting his rich buddies off the hook with the estate tax. He's just another hack, dont believe the hype. As for Palin...we dont need someone with absolutely no intelligence whatsoever.

  • @dpowellballs And exactly how do you, some 15 yr old punk, know?

  • @circusmaximus10 LOL I love when old geezer with nothing else to do try ot emulate Clint Eastwood online

  • Palin/Christie ticket in 2012! Change America REALLY needs!

  • Socialist freeloaders remind me of small children. Children need discipline or they beg and beg for more candy. Politicians have become the grandparents who spoil them with more candy cause they have created a system that work. How do you keep a child happy? Feed them more and more candy. Time to bring some discipline back to the American politician and people. No more freeloaders cause most of us are not socialists. We are capitalists and we are hard disciplined workers.

  • BRAVO.... IT'S ABUT TIME A SMART MAN GETS INTO POWER IN MAFIA LAND. CLEAN UP THE CROOKS, STARTING WITH OBAMA. THROW THE LAZY BUMS OFF WELFARE AND MAKE THEM EARN A LIVING. STOP THE DEMOCRATS AND THE PROGRESSIVE TAKE OVER OF AMERICA.... SEE YOU IN THE WHITE HOUSE SOON!

  • This man knows how to describe a crisis and a plan to fix it. Wish y'all could share him for a few weeks down here on the Gulf. I bet he could help somehow.

  • look at the sour puss on that bitch in the top left corner. a liberal i'm sure

  • @rukiddingmeNJ I was thinking the same thing. She looks like a fucking cunt. I watched one of her interviews and she's dumber than a box of rocks. How could anyone vote for that dumbass?

  • This person deserves to be president of USA.

To all those who are babbling about riches of wall street bankers, please understand that the wrongs of bankers and politicians is no excuse for the apathy and greed, misuse of power by public unions

  • I've said it before, I'll say it again. Chris Christie for President 2012!

  • Christie for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • this guy will change nj - hopefully he can run for the presidency later in his career.. the rest of the country could use someone like this too.

NJN news must still be upset Corzine lost.. glaring typo at 2:31

  • Christie 2012

  • I love this guy!!

  • I like him. But, dispense with the Teleprompters and the "Gestapo" looking Capitol Police Officer to the right… We're tired of the scripted and the fearful....

  • VOLUME!!!!!!! This is precisely what Americans are starving for in their elected representatives. Guts to made difficult decisions through all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, that in the long run will get government back under control as our Founders intended. That is: LIMITED govt. with maximum individual liberty and freedom.

  • This man has villified common public workers, but has not talked about the private "professionals". Engineering firms and Law firms billing the state and local taxpayer hundreds of dollars per hour. Millions of dollars per year. Lets talk about Sussman who owns and leases NJ every state building in Trenton. Why are we renting from this guy to the tune of billions? When Christie takes on the REAL problems, then I will be a believer.

  • @Hammerlix All I saw him doing in the video was telling the truth. Your attack on him doesn't fall into the realm of facts, but instead, opinions. The REAL problem in NJ is all the greedy democrats who have run it into the ground, and have looted the treasury.

  • @1xirsx1 you may call Christie's verbal scapegoating of a certain group of middle class workers as truth, but this is only your opinion... afterall, another popular leader who scapegoated groups was loved and supported by his fellow citizens... they even called him " der Führer".

  • @Hammerlix What kind of a moron would compare Christie's approach to his state's budget crisis and Adolph Hitler,is this part of the Sol Olinsky creed? What's next, you going to call him FATTY?

  • @amaconstr My poor foolish friend, we were talking about the Corporate Thug Christie's habit of scapegoating certain individuals and the how history has taught us, those (people like yourself) not being scapegoated seem to be attracted to it. We were not talking about Thug Christie's approach to the state's budget crisis by reducing taxes for millionaires and thereby lessening cash flow... Acht der lieber, thats Shhhtupid... but thats your Fuhrer for you.

  • @Hammerlix Poor foolish,maybe..friend ,remains to be seen. How many billions have moved out of that state, treating people with money "nicely" makes them come around,do stuff, and get involved, which stimulates the economy, improves cash flow and revenues for the state to be able to afford helping the disadvantaged without going in the debt,my poor misguided friend

  • @amaconstr Ama, I have watched what wonderful things the rich do, like insider trading, unbridled and foolish use of our resources, hiring of illegals for the cost savings, setting up generations of trust funded losers who are a drag on society and then we have the pension raids and selling out to China... you may wish to pucker up and kiss their wonderful, liposucked butts, however forgive me if I sit that love fest out.

  • @Hammerlix Ham,trust funds like the Kennedys, carbon footprints like Al Gore's. Every Admin has failed to stop the exploitation of illegals, our rich and politicians aren't that bad,all in all, I'd rather fight the daily battles with our rich and political figures as opposed to fighting other countries;Castro,Chavez,Hussein,Putin,Kim Jong Il.the chinese womever they are,4/5 of there population lives in slavery ...Anyway Christie is responsible for all that by raising bus fares??

  • @amaconstr oh, ama, my poor A.D.D. aflicted friend. You were talking about your adoration of the rich. Corporate Thug Christie did not make the rich selfish, self centered and spoiled drags on our society. Christie is merely continuing the love fest by rewarding them for the wonderful things they have done to our economy.

  • @Hammerlix Hammy,it's wonderful things FOR our economy.they're not all trust fund babies like the kennedys, rockefellers, etc. Most of them are entrepenuers, captains of industry, dilligent hard working, Bill gates,Warren Buffet, the google boys, just to name a few,you ever get a job from a poor person?you sound like someone who's had all his toys taken away or never had any in the first place,Christie's policies will help them make things better for everyone,we'll all be rich and happy

  • I do have a question for goldenkola, if it's insane to think a tax cut from the numerous tax hikes enacted over the last decade would create jobs, is it insane to think that teachers cannot forgo a pay raise every year over the rate of inflation and have most teachers not even contribute to their medical benefits? I mean, really, would it hurt "the children", or the teacher for that matter, if this tiny little bit was asked of the teachers. I mean, it'd be insane to think they'd quit.

  • @fewju82

Yeah and I'm a History grad student. In what way is socialism, "liberal bent though"? Back up that wild assertion. How were roads built in the first place? The corporations that prosper from public roads, schools, hospitals, and libraries should indeed have to pay more. Why just ask teachers fewju? Why not cops who can make up to 120k in retirement money a year? It's an attempt to sabotage one of the best public school systems in the country in favor of charter schools.

  • @goldenkola You crack me up. You are a true funny person. I'm glad your a History grad but our educational system is truly hosed if you don't know how socialism and liberalism has intertwining thoughts. Go Charter Schools! Goldenkola has helped us prove our point to our defunct educational system. Later, Goldenkola, I've got work to do so I can pay taxes for your socialist programs. I hope your heart remains healthy. No more replies from me as you are definitely making me laugh too much.

  • @fewju82

Re: money growing on trees- I hate to break it to you but the current fed reserve system actually does create money from thin air. When our money is created, it is created as debt. In fact the money is literally created from thin air when we borrow from the fed for something like the war in Iraq. Why don't you guys protest war spending? Oh yeah, because that's govt welfare to the private defense industry.

  • @goldenkola I dont care what you label your contorted thoughts; if you advocate violence against me because I succeed your arbitrary limit on income then youre a disgrace to the human species. No matter what dunce cap, liberal, or socialist, you choose to place on top of your lump of head meat.

  • @TheGodofAtheists

Who advocated violence? You people surely have the highest opinions of yourselves. I work 2 jobs for my income, but I'm not nearly as selfish as you people are. Anyway fewju, way to defend your awful argument. You conservatives are funny.

  • Again, the tolerant libs swear and use demeaning terms. The tolerant ones that whine about racism, the poor, the gays, etc. I don't care what people think, but I do hate hypocrisy. The libs are the epitome of hypocrisy. Hey, libs, what will you do if the millionares do leave Jersey? Where's the money going to come from? And a couple teacher/government worker comments-you may not have easy jobs but you ever notice how teachers and government workers never quit? Quit. Find another "better" job.

  • @fewju82

Not a lib. I'm a socialist. Two radically diff things in case you didn't know. What will we do if the benevolent millionaires leave NJ? We'd barely make it a day. So now we have to become a state that panders to rich ppl? The fact is they're not moving anywhere. Most of them live in NJ because it's close to NYC. They're not creating any jobs here and it's insane to think a tax cut for them would.

  • @goldenkola HA! I'm a political science major and retired military so I think you don't know what you talk of. Socialism is liberal-bent thought. You are ignorant of facts. How will you have roads built, schools maintained, etc. if you don't have a tax base. Are you that naive? You are. Good reply though as it shows that facts are always facts. Money rains from the skies. Good one, comrade.

  • I dont care what you label your contorted thoughts; if you advocate violence against me because I succeed your arbitrary limit on income then youre a disgrace to the human species. No matter what dunce cap you choose to place on top of your lump of head meat.

  • Chris is THE man, baby.. 4 more years!!!

  • Chris Christie is the truth.

  • i hope his fat baboon heart craps out on him before the end of his term

  • Comment removed

  • @smb0072962

    lolz

  • @goldenkola Amazing... someone points out simple facts about the budget and explains that he wants to cut spending to balance the budget so you say that you hope he dies. You makes me sick.

  • @dannidandannikins

i makes you sick eh? what makes me sick is dogmatic conservatism. All i said was i hope that his fat baboon heart craps out on him because in the long run it'll save working class people in nj a lot of misery. maybe then we could get this asinine tax cut for the richest 1% of the state repealed. oh wait, those billionaires need that money to invest in more derivatives/make jobs in nj.

  • @goldenkola He explained why it is necessary to cut spending in order to balance the budget. You said you wanted him to die for doing so. fuck you, you sick mother fucker.

  • @goldenkola All goldenkola said is that he hopes someone heart gives out. Very kind, socialist thought there. I can tell that goldenkola is a kind, compassionate type of person. Heck, it's only a heart and he'll die. Or is this liberal, oops, I mean, socialist compassion only for those that share your own views? By the way, I weight about 450 and I feel my heart is giving out right now. You're not applauding goldenkola, are you? Your kind socialist heart wouldn't allow that, would it?

  • Homeboy is fearless! I love how he speaks candidly, and is truthful about our situation.

  • That's it everyone, attack him on his physicality, not his policy. What did he say that was wrong? Keep playing childish partisan games and be prepared to point the finger at yourself for being responsible for nothing being fixed.

  • Looks like a bucket of lard on a bad day. A baby gorilla. Why doesn't he work in a zoo, and stop bothering people?

  • We need more like him to come out of the woodwork and run for Congress, as well as our next President. Less Government, Less taxes, AND more local/state control, not federal government control!

  • nice work Governor.

THIS is the NEW era, and whatever I can do to make it work. I'm 100% for.

Here's an example of the change in Jersey:

Holmdel finally got some guts and laid off 400 teachers. Oh my god, you say! 400?

Yeah, because they had over 600 teachers for 6,800 students! from K to 8th grade. 600 teachers for 6,800 kindergardn to 8th grade students??? THATS what the unions have done to Jersey. Every one gets a salary, a pension and all the perks. THAT DAY IS DONE FOLKS !

  • wonderful....we need someone like him in california....govt pensions are out of control

  • he said the right thing and is doing the right thing telling the truth. What a novel idea for a politcian he's great

  • Chris Christie is the kind of man this country has been desperate for!

He tells us the facts - he treats us like adults - he respects us!

Stay strong Governor Christie - we need you!

  • Governor Chirstie's comments are so plain and simple, a monkey could understand them. If only we could get a real conservative like him in this corrupt liberal cesspool of Washington state.

  • @granitelabor I agree !! :)

  • This man has the balls to say what needs to be said and to do what needs to be done, to bad he isn't President.

  • @Madman2411 i hope he does run for president, if he does im voting for him

  • Finally an ADULT ! Go get 'em Christie!!!

  • @davenetdog Could not have said it better.

  • What the state of New Jersey needs in order to eliminate the deficit and clean Trenton is a governot that's not afraid to be a complete fucking asshole. Christie is the man. Go Christie!!!!!!

  • What a fat piece of a shit. Maybe New Jersey can run on methane from his Big Mac farts. Fucking lardass.

  • @loonmaniac one more liberal who attacks personally

    big surprise.

  • @loonmaniac Ever heard of the Laffer Curve - it shows that whenever you increase taxes you actually DECREASE the revenue from taxes.

    Those are the facts.

So yes, if you do want New Jersey to run on methane then go right ahead and raise those taxes.

Besides that - don't be so ignorant - I thought you Democrats didn't judge people by the way they looked???

Go read a book for all our sakes.

  • @MaggiMay08 The Laffer Curve has been debunked many times, it's a bunch of hooey.

  • Who were the smart fucking idiots that thought it'd be a GREAT idea to vote in a crook? This dude has so many files on him, wow. Good job New Jersey get MORE corrupt politicians. Somebody arrest this fatass too.

  • what a fucking lard ass

  • What the fuck is he doing for us nothing there's mad imigrants working in nj ok I leave here they do construction all over ok who owns this house quess who u idiot the bank and your governed Cristy they took my food stamps I have to go out there and make money I have a three year old son and u took my sons food stamp away he's kids eat preaty good write u fucking asshole I say strike back don't buy shit were the imigrants workare cuz they work for your goverment

  • Get ready folks, here come the "austerity kings" of the Austrian/Chicago school of economics. The people who brought to you derivatives and deregulation, and are now playing "the good guys." More money for the banking oligarchs, and none for your roads, schools, hospitals, social security.

We already know government is "too big", but you never hear reform that has focuses on smaller government committed to infrastructure. NEVER. More money for wall street.

  • fagggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggot

  • Finally....New Jersey has a LEADER! He is not taking any crap and being honest about it.....he is our Maggie Thatcher......Christie KICK ASS!

  • @gopconservative78

    A leader? Oh boy.

  • yea his kids aren't in public schools soo he should have no say in any education plans

  • burger please that man needs some eats.

  • I didn't mean to imply that older teachers equal better ones. I still have to emphasize, though, that cutting the salary of educators will compromise the specialization of our teachers. The best ones will teach elsewhere if they find better pay and benefits. Why not make different salary cuts? Athletes tend to get paid billions and immediately go bankrupt, ironically because they were never TAUGHT proper financial management. Cut that instead of important things like education.

  • Come over to the private sector. I took almost a 10% salary cut, had my company car taken away, had my expense account cut, had had the worst commission year in 10 years. My message for teachers is "join the crowd" and for the rest of you to wake up. There is no free ride. Christie might be the best thing to happen to this state ever. If you think things are bad now wait until it all comes crashing down. You can't spend money you don't have.

  • I had a teacher say to me "so what, that comes out of my union dues". My response was, your union dues along with your paycheck comes from my tax dollars. Get a fucking clue. The gig is up. There is no free ride. All Christie was doing is asking teachers to take a pay freeze and if they did he would make sure no funding for programs would be cut. And they said no. Are you kidding me?

  • @steev11

Being a teacher these days is no "free ride." It actually involves being a therapist, physiologist, parent, and security guard, all to satisfy fat lazy parents who do not "parent", because they treat education like a business and feel they need to get "more for the dollar." I'll tell you what, reform is good, but don't bullshit people, kicking the BANKS out comes first.

  • With Christie you have someone who is not sugar coating the mess our state and country are in. My wife, brother, mother, and sister-in-law are all teachers so I am a beneficiary of the teacher pension system. Wake up people. You can't be a teacher and put in $103k of your own money in to your pension system and get back $3.1 million in benefits and $500k and health care benefits. The numbers don't add up. The unions are out of control. The Teacher's Union president makes $550k per year.

  • I am going to play devil's advocate here. Read the fine print in the article. The number of employees under Corzine was 103 staffers and now Christie has 117. The pay roll went from $7million to $8.9 million and according to the article because this may be because of where Corzine had his people placed allowed those salaries come out of different budgets. I am not making lite of $1.9 million dollars. But this article looks like a hit job.

  • go eat another fuckin big mac you hypocrite if you are so concerned about budgets give up your governor salary stop picking on the small hard working people like teachers its your fuckin waspy rich people who you should be taxing stop brainwashing all the people dumb enough to believe your asinine comments that teachers are to blame for this budget mess it the stupid fuckin politicians in office and the assholes on wall street who created this fuckin mess

  • baby sitters get payed more then us teachers

  • If a decrease happens, wouldn't it be true that the best quality teachers would be attracted to schools elsewhere with higher pay and benefits? Our students here would be dealing with newer educators that are lucky to snag whatever bum job they can instead of the experienced educators that greatly enhance the youth of our future and are well worth the money. It's not a question of whether Teacher Unions will negotiate, it's whether we can afford to negotiate the specialization of our teachers.

  • @dudeitsafetus Just because they are experienced does not make them any better of a teacher. Many older teachers have given up on teaching and just continue the job for the money.

  • Get it right, Mr. Governor, because the old way of doing business is stink and rotten in Denmark and Paterson.

  • Are you all really buying this? Judging by his physical state, he does not know how to budget anything. Every politician has promised us lower taxes and so on. What have they done, nothing. The whole united states is in a financial state of crisis. What is he doing shorting our children's education and creating more unemployment. He has not been petrified to eat. Look at him. Remember , he is a Politician. Get my drift.

  • @LadyLillian55 How does his physical state have anything to do with the budget. It's ridiculous to think that just because he is heavy he wont be able to handle a budget.

Also, this decision is not one that he wants to do. No politician wants to cut education. It's the past politicians that have put this state into debt with out of control spending. So it has to stop some where and he is the one willing to put his job on the line to control the spending.

    Get my drift!

  • I did not vote for Christie, but I can't say I disagree with some of the things he is doing. No one likes tearing off a band aid or getting a root canal, but it is necessary. On that same note, I expect him to raise the property taxes he promised to slash, and I expect him to a one term governor as many with the situation he is in tend to be.

  • Recall Christie

  • @beccita Why? because he speaks the truth? Live within your means. Stop taxing the crap out of everyone. Learn what works...it aint taxing and spending by governments.

  • @KriegenSchlagen He does not speak the truth, nor do you. How do you have any idea what my means are and whether I live within them or not? You cannot possibly know any of this, and your readiness to leap to conclusions without knowing any of the facts is clearly shown in your misguided and mistaken views and opinions.

  • go eat another big mac with fries you fat fuckin asshole

  • THE CHANGE WE NEED!

  • @walter75110 THE CHANGE NJ DOESNT NEED!!Cutting spending on schools??Whats that gonna do??It makes as much sense as cutting funding for police and firefighters! He attacked the Teachers Union plenty of times during his campaign but if they say anything bad about him he cries "Bloody Murder!!"

  • @bob75ify but isn't it true that if teachers just took a 1% salary increase instead of 3.9%, we would save taxpayers millions of dollars?

  • @harrypmgs Wouldnt it be true that if he lowers funding for schools then people get alid off and cant afford to buy other items and it keeps going on and on?

  • @bob75ify but if they didn't take a pay raise or even had less of one there wouldn't be any need to lay anyone off. the fact of the matter is we're in a recession. some people need to start acting like it. Teacher's unions, car companies, banks, etc.

  • @harrypmgs But still, you dont take away money from schools. They are the people of tomorrow and if they dont get the education they need then whats gonna happen??

  • @bob75ify in general i agree with that. but dont try to paint it as he's saying "u no what? I feel like not giving our children the schooling they need." No. He's reacting to the economic crisis in a fiscally responsible way. As a result of the Teacher's Union, which refuses to negotiate not giving raises to teachers, the individual schools' allotted money needs to be spent on that.

If every teacher didn't take a pay raise, or took 1% instead of 3.9%, we wouldn't have to cut back half as much

  • @harrypmgs ok,I can understand that, but maybe instead of making the school children pay for the teachers union they could have a chat about that, because the union has tries to talk to him plenty of ties but he wont.

  • @bob75ify now i think here is where our discussion ends because as I understand it, it's the teacher's union that refuses to negotiate, so there's really nowhere we can go from here

  • I think it's a good idea to cut Police Officers Salary, even though I dont Cristie will do it. How can you gove 150,000 from people who take from the Economy. The Police Officer role doesn't include giving back what - so - ever. THey take peoples money, They take peoples lives. How can you give a police officer 150,000 dolars to anchor the economy?

  • People can whine all they want but the truth is we needed a govenor willing to do this, corzine was just digging our state in a deeper and deeper hole.

  • Thank You very much ladies and gentlemen before I begin I must say its great to be in front of you with my $500 suit which I bought yesterday with your money. Also as I stand here riping our constitution in half I am looking at all of you and laughing on the inside knowing I'm taking all your jobs and educational institutions away so I can leave Nj's children illiterate. Hey can you blame me I need a 2011 benz fully loaded and need to keep my table at Sparks Steakhouse. Have a good day everyone!

  • Chris Christie is a fat bastard who is taking the good will of children away.

  • yes we are in a crisis so let's take away $5 million more than you were supposed to

  • So far, the only shit this man has done for my community is make it so that my classes in high school next year will be consisting of 50 students .. and one school nurse to take care of 1300 kids.

  • @itsumoneko98

You have no clue how corrupt this state is. I applaud this man. Now stay in school and actually learn something like how to live within your means, "budgeting"

  • @1997SUPRAMAN How are we supposed to get a good education when even in my school one teacher from each department has been laid off. We are going to have classes with 50 students in them. Keep in mind I live in a very wealthy neighborhood and this is happening. So, what's going to happen to places like Trenton or even the town 10 miles away from us? There will be 1 school for 2-3 districts?

  • @itsumoneko98 Well being deep in the hole calls for tough measures. States need to be run like a business not like maxed out credit cards. Funny and ironic We want transparency from the FED "they don't give it" we want transparency from the NJEA "they don't give it" sounds like a mafia.

  • @1997SUPRAMAN, Staying in school would be a novel idea but alas Christie is closing them so there's little chance of learning anything.

  • People are leaving in droves!!! Time to impeach

  • Hello NJ, look into the face of your destroyer!

  • @vids721 How is he destroying NJ? If you mean cutting spending, that's saving. Maybe if you're a govt worker who does the bare minimum you're in trouble, but for those of us paying 500 a month in property taxes on a townhouse with a tiny backyard, he's our savior. If the boat is sinking from weight, you have to throw some people overboard, or everyone drowns with the ship. At least Christie has the balls to pick and choose who he's going to throw overboard.

  • @EternallyRecurring That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. How is it a good decision to cut budgets to things we need like education and civic services yet NJ government never fires their unneeded government officials that get overpaid to do nothing anyway? There are healthier alternatives to what Christie is doing, but how can we expect that from a greedy, embezzling Republican.

  • @vids721 Greedy and embezzeling? You mean Corzine who was sleeping with the Govt workers Union leader and giving her hundreds of thousands of dollars, or was it McGreevy who gave his boyfriend, an Israeli, a national security job

  • @EternallyRecurring Just because I hate Christie doesn't mean I like Corzine or McGreevy. In fact, I hated both of them! I was pulling for Lonegan in the Republican primaries because he is what Republicans once were and should remain, not like Christie who is a spit image of what people THINK Conservatives should be. Lonegan wrote a great article in the NY times ripping Christie's budget apart. Look it up, it's actually very brilliant.

  • @vids721 Wasn't Lonegan upset over a billboard in Spanish? Talk about freedom of speech issues.

  • @EternallyRecurring Maybe? Not sure about that, I'd have to look that up.

  • @EternallyRecurring, He was only mad because it only had spanish on it, All due respect this is America after all so the sign should have been in english as well as spanish. Has nothing to do with freedom of speech. In fact if you wanna go a step further if the signs are in spanish why not make a russian sign or italian one too while they are at it. Sounds like deliberate prejudice to me.

  • @krugin72 Because it's a paid advertisement. If the company wants to spend money on a sign in Swahili, it's their business. It's not a public sign. Why should we force private companies to put english in their signs?

  • @EternallyRecurring, Your right, the signs are privately owned by the company, but the sign was for the public which everyone is allowed to see which makes it both public and private. If a sign is in a different language by itself it is aimed to only that people who speak it, That my friend is prejudice. In any country, signs should not be limited to just one group.
