The gardener snakes will eat them if there is no other foods round. We have them all over out here. there still very pretty tho.

  • I have have a poor wild strawberry plant for ages and i decided to place in my sacred space in the garden and its thriving!!! guess its surpose to be there.

  • What lovely gift!

  • Hey, My Nana has a random corn stalk in her yard. I know this will sound weird but there is a possibility a bird pooped out the seed onto the ground! XD It happens, trust me.

  • Cool. The Gods have bless you. Strawberries are great eaten! :)

  • We've got wild strawberries growing randomly under some bushes and tiger lilies out in my back yard.

  • That's so cool! =]

  • A Sweet Blessing for your family! That is so awesome!

  • what did you end up doing with them???

  • It's is like a beautiful sign from the Goddess of the fields. That is so cool.

    Blessed Be.

  • do you plant strawberries once or do you have to replant them every year like tomatoes???

  • I don't know...I have never grown them before.

  • What Quarter are they in or were they in ??

  • @youngdrop22

Nope, once you have a single strawberry plant, it will send out 'runners' which when they come into contact with anything close to soil they will begin to root.

I Now have 46 strawberry plants from an original 2, they last forever if you put straw arround the base of them every winter/cold spell.

A very easy plant to grow and look after.

Typically, i neglect the runners giving them too much then too little water. The ones that survive i keep as these are the hardy ones.

  • @youngdrop22 in my area, we have a harsh, cold winter with lots of snow and if you have a climate like that, the strawberries will die at the end of the fall, but other than that, i really dont know

  • @youngdrop22 they do not die

  • Maybe a fairy planted them!!!;)

  • Maybe some bird ate the seeds and flew over and dropped "the kids" off and voila! STRAWBERRIES!!! hahahahaha just a funny random thought

  • that is so random, but very awesome!

they just grew out of no where?

  • wow! thats awesome!

  • you said you sometimes do group rituals out there? could someone have had strawberry seeds to bless that might have dropped?

  • My home circle, I only do solitary or family practice. The public Sabbats are at a public park

  • That is so awesome!!

  • It looks to most likely, potentilla indica. It kind of looks like a wild strawberry, but it is not. If you look closely, you'll see the seeds are red(not tan/green). Also, the fruit is only red skinned n' white inside. Some of the common names are mock strawberry, wood strawberry, or indian strawberry. As far as I know, they are not poisoness but I wouldn't suggest eating them either. They are, pretty much, tasteless. :)

  • COOL!!! Thanks..This is great!

  • THAT IS SO WILD!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Wild Strawberries have White flowers; make sure they are not the yellow flowered varieties :-)

  • Thanks

  • A true blessing! I think nature is giving you a sign. I tried to grow a potted strawberry plant I planted in my garden but the neighborhood possum stole it :^( Watch Out for those critters! lol

  • Cool ! Yes they are edible. I've eaten many and because they are wild they contain a special energy.

    BLESSED BE )O(

  • OMg-that's sooo cool :*

  • Oh Yay!!! Fairy Rings are the coolest thing! I love it!

"I think it's special for us too." tehehe

I have no idea if they are edible, I will look it up, but I so want to eat one if they are okay to. I am hoping the ducks won't eat them first.

  • Sooo cool! Especially that they're growing in your sacred circle! I definitely don't believe it's coincidental!

  • My boyfriend is a Landscape architect. He says that this does happen sometimes when a bird will eat a strawberry from maybe a neighbors garden or what have you and when it poops, it poops the seeds and you get yourself a little strawberry plant in the middle of your yard.

They grow really well because they have the poop as fertilizer! But it's awesome to have grown in your sacred Circle!!

  • LOL...That is so funny! I think it's so cool and I so had to share it with everyone!

Thanks for the info. I love natural fertilizer! LOL...

  • Sweet!

  • Literaly!!! : P
