I think, regardless of what they are (poison or not) or how they got there they are a gift from the fairies, which if nothing else would be a reason not to eat them. Just tend them and keep them healthy and the fairies who gifted them will watch over your circle and family for many generations!
I love you. I just have to tell you how amazing you are and how I wish I knew more people like you. I dont have any wiccan friends and Ive been neglecting my practice for a few years now and have been really wanting to rededicate myself.
I found you first when I was looking up how to make a scrying mirror out of regular glass and I havnt been able to stop so please don't stop making them!
ummm i'm just saying here in mexico we have plants that grows fruits like those.... and the ones here are poisonus.... sooooo i dont know if those are really stawberries... so WATCH OUT!
Actually you really want to be carefull with those, They are poisionus, they are not strawberrys. I live in Ky and out here they are snake food. their called snake berries. The gardener snakes will eat them if there is no other foods round. We have them all over out here. there still very pretty tho.
I have have a poor wild strawberry plant for ages and i decided to place in my sacred space in the garden and its thriving!!! guess its surpose to be there.
Hey, My Nana has a random corn stalk in her yard. I know this will sound weird but there is a possibility a bird pooped out the seed onto the ground! XD It happens, trust me.
Nope, once you have a single strawberry plant, it will send out 'runners' which when they come into contact with anything close to soil they will begin to root.
I Now have 46 strawberry plants from an original 2, they last forever if you put straw arround the base of them every winter/cold spell.
A very easy plant to grow and look after.
Typically, i neglect the runners giving them too much then too little water. The ones that survive i keep as these are the hardy ones.
@youngdrop22 in my area, we have a harsh, cold winter with lots of snow and if you have a climate like that, the strawberries will die at the end of the fall, but other than that, i really dont know
It looks to most likely, potentilla indica. It kind of looks like a wild strawberry, but it is not. If you look closely, you'll see the seeds are red(not tan/green). Also, the fruit is only red skinned n' white inside. Some of the common names are mock strawberry, wood strawberry, or indian strawberry. As far as I know, they are not poisoness but I wouldn't suggest eating them either. They are, pretty much, tasteless. :)
A true blessing! I think nature is giving you a sign. I tried to grow a potted strawberry plant I planted in my garden but the neighborhood possum stole it :^( Watch Out for those critters! lol
My boyfriend is a Landscape architect. He says that this does happen sometimes when a bird will eat a strawberry from maybe a neighbors garden or what have you and when it poops, it poops the seeds and you get yourself a little strawberry plant in the middle of your yard.
They grow really well because they have the poop as fertilizer! But it's awesome to have grown in your sacred Circle!!
the gods and goddesses hath blessed you with strawburrys growing there well thats my theory atleast

I have no idea if they are edible, I will look it up, but I so want to eat one if they are okay to. I am hoping the ducks won't eat them first.
