Does it bruise the bird? This is interesting.

@potentatetato - Surprisingly not at all. Sometimes it does tear the skin on a heavier bird. I have plucked hundreds of chickens and about 20 turkeys to date 5/15/10.

@potentatetato The birds don't bruise as they have been bleed out. You need blood for bruising.

sure beats 2 hours of stinky hand plucking, and people out there if you have never hand plucked a chicken or turkey.. they stink!!
