  • i live right there in the hill right next 2 it

  • on a side note gasoline tankers are the only hazmat trucks allowed to have wet lines i'e the plumbing under the truck. when these trucks are loaded these lines are packed with fuel. why? cause its faster & easier to load time=$ also the tanks are about as thick as a piece of card board. why? less weight = more fuel per load. happy motoring!

  • you have no idea how awful these drivers are treated. how would you like to drive a gasoline tanker for 10-16hrs a day for $20hr no overtime no retirement no health care. heck these guys work for up to 16hrs without so much as a lunch break?

  • My mom was at work in Costco. She saw it and took pictures. As she came home, she was dizzy from all that gas fumes.

  • I'm curious if the taxpayers are gong to get stuck paying for this truck driver's poor judgement stopping a burning truck under an overpass.

  • I'm impressed the bridge didn't collapse with the intense heat

  • not a big conspiracy.. small and local.. making big money.

  • ... ...

  • ...

  • they are going demolish the half that got bruned.

  • @socalltd Only compounded more by the asbestos in the underpass itself.

  • @cwn89015 the cables, containing the asbestos, in the bridge and have been worked with and not disrupt services. now the remainder half is being demolished over nights this week

    (12/18/11)

  • @socalltd I didn't mean it disrupted services, I didn't even think about that. I meant it delayed it. If not for that, and barring other things, it could have opened sooner. The whole thing goes away, and the fire becomes a blessing for those that travel the bridge. People could have gotten sick if the bridge were allowed to deteriorate. Let's get it down and have an abestos free road.

  • @cwn89015 i live right next to it. they discovered the cables as it was being torn down thursday. they stopped and put a long beam to suspend them and finished to clear the damaged portion. the bridge was built in '68. i do not know how to discover the asbestos in the cables. cal-trans should had repave the road, get traffic moving, close the bridge and demolish it over night in pieces and not close the freeway for almost 4 days strait. i take pictures of the work done

  • i live right by one of the off ramps, at 12:15 all i saw was smoke! the traffic getting around this was the worst. san gabriel, walnut grove, montebello blvd just full with cars and trucks.

  • hahaha i just seen my ass freeway side lol hahah

  • and at what point did anyone report that the firefighters requested hazmat? this will go on like the michael jackson case.. so that sophomoric types will not be revealed. like you. lawyers make money the people loose.

  • @cshargeit your weird.

  • @cshargeit Wow...if you had watched the entire video without being blinded by thermite you would have seen the Hazmat unit. This is why people, particularly the kooks (like you) need to think & actually learn a bit about what's going on before shouting "conspiracy!". WTF else are you talking about? Put down the dope...

  • ya dude go ahead. these people worry about jobs. the money is in insurance. big money fool.i worry to reveal the truth about you high school criminals.

  • lies all lies these mofos never tried to put this out.. these mofos want job security. these mofos will sell you insurance. its what their first or second wife keep files for. they did not try to stop it . it was thermite.. it never stopped burning... they might have a high school diploma but these are all criminals in charge. look at 8.50 he does not intend to hit the fire ,.. look at 1050 the fire is like thermite.. never stops burning/... you will never see this comment or the trut again.

  • @cshargeit What a fucking moron you are, you don't even know what thermite is junior, nor do you understand (obviously) firefighting tactics in a situation such as this. Go back to school...

  • I am stuck on the freeway right now

  • I used to party in that area. It was always hot!

  • What school Schurr Or What Serio Serio

  • i was at school and i saw the smoke it was huge
