@arac9 You understand that it was the LIMO drivers panic and wrong decision making which caused the actual impact. Watch the video over and over and over again. The LIMO driver VEERED directly into the path of the oncoming vehicle. A cool headed driver would have seen the headlights from far out and slowed down while maintaining course. If the Limo driver would have simply remained in his lane the accident would have been avoided, and all in the video alive to this day.

I did drive two Saturday's ago after 3 jack on the rocks and 5 beers within a 2 hour period which would have definitely put me over the "legal limit" in my state. Drove carefully, and arrived home safely.

my sister was nearly killed in a drunk driving accident and i definitely don't anyone of my family members or any of my friends dying in an accident like that
my friend steve was killed by a drunk driver last fall. our high school football team had just lost in the state semifinals and he went out to a party, later passed out in the bed of his friend's pickup truck. his hammered friend crashed into stone pillars off the side of the road, throwing steve out of the bed and killing him instantly.
steve was everyone's friend and anyone who knew him is forever changed.

This is so sad. This little 7 year old girl had her whole life ahead of her. It just goes to show that some people make stupid mistakes and their is a repercussion to every stupid mistake. decapitation is the word one uses to describe the removal of ones head. There's nothing insensitive about that, it's just the truth. And the driver didn't survive, it clearly said that. It also clearly stated that Katie was strapped into her seat asleep. so yea.

I think trying to water it down only lessens the impact of the message. People need to hear the ugly, gruesome, graphic truth about what drunk driving can do. I don't find it distasteful at all. Distasteful would be showing the little girl's decapitated body mangled in the wreckage. Every high school student should see this video.

I was the third person on the scene right after an immensly bad drunk driving in it. I still to this day can not get the images out of my mind. I go through life and just like in the movies, a scene of that night will flash into my mind. It all really makes you think.

Let's say he did what you say and avoided the accident, this drunk fool still would have went on to kill someone else. I think it's very insensitive of you to blame the limo driver for the accident. This tragedy was caused by the drunk idiot in the pick up truck who drove for two miles in the wrong direction. So stop blaming the dead for their deaths.

Various levels of intoxication, and have never been or even close to any accidient. @Austin9599945 If I were to ever "drink enough" to be seeing 5 or 6 of everything I'd likely be dead, but assuming I was actually that disoriented than NO I wouldn't drive. I did drive two Saturday's ago after 3 jack on the rocks and 5 beers within a 2 hour period which would have definitely put me over the "legal limit" in my state. Drove carefully, and arrived home safely.

my friend steve was killed by a drunk driver last fall. our high school football team had just lost in the state semifinals and he went out to a party, later passed out in the bed of his friend's pickup truck. his hammered friend crashed into stone pillars off the side of the road, throwing steve out of the bed and killing him instantly.
steve was everyone's friend and anyone who knew him is forever changed.
drink and drive, and you can kill someone too.

Its a sad story for sure, a little distasteful that they use the word 'decapitation', i appreciate that it may of happened but come on give her some respect. It seems a bit sensationalist.
Good to spread awareness, and the song does it in a very tasteful way, though the news reports im not so sure are as caring and heart felt as they claim. @BrightonStudent I have to disagree with you here. Using the world decapitation is not sensationalism. It's telling people the truth about what happened. I think trying to water it down only lessens the impact of the message. People need to hear the ugly, gruesome, graphic truth about what drunk driving can do. I don't find it distasteful at all. Distasteful would be showing the little girl's decapitated body mangled in the wreckage. Every high school student should see this video.

Im going to tell this story in my highschool health class- this story is too powerful to let people forget- i dont think this video mentions the part about what happened to the mother right after the crash, but its the most fucked up thing Ive ever heard- i wrote a report and im going to show this video too
other people should do the same, it can save lives

look as much as i agree with the whole drink driving = stupid thing, who the fuck are you to make this video. Do you actually know what happened, or are you just being fed by the media? This song is amazing, but its amazing because it relates to so many things, and sure its grounding is in one incident but that doesnt mean thats just what its about. Atleast thats the way i like to think about it. I do think that guys a fucking idiot, but thats just my opinion and it doesnt count for much

I was the third person on the scene right after an immensly bad drunk driving in it. I still to this day can not get the images out of my mind. I go through life and just like in the movies, a scene of that night will flash into my mind. It all really makes you think.

really sad story, but what disturbes me the most atm is that i know people who once or twice drove while being more or less drunk and i never really underrated how fucking stupid and dangerous that is.
