My favorite scene in the entire movie. It is a very confused, mess of an adoption, BUT it does have some great moments. And this one... Well I just love it. Brando is so delightfully charming, and makes an ice bucket look very stylish!

And Moreau may have committed horrible crimes against nature, but he's very fatherly and nice when his daughter is upset over her transformation.

    Love the way he says;

"You see, I made you smile!"

  • @Gardianangel683 same here!!!

  • I want one of those ice bucket hats.

  • Master of Puppets Metallica. Satellite access triggers to get people to destroy themselves. I write the songs that make the whole world sing Barry Manilow. All the earth will obey! Hack the media monitors, access the sonography satellites and prove the vanity of the worlds governments! You believe the usa is free? then why did you vote for a term king aka president? Not strong enough to stand on your own?

  • I can't believe I am watching Marlon Brando with a bucket on his head!

  • David Thewlis with a gun to his head = a metaphor for his time spent working on this film.

  • "... the script he signed on for was scrapped anyway. "By the time Brando had arrived [...] no one was willing to say no to anything, which is why Brando wears an ice bucket on his head in one scene," Stanley says. Brando himself later commented that particular scene: "I was just so bored, I didn't know what else to do!"

  • @timswire

LMFAO - what he was just so bored that he out a bucket on his head during a live scene and it became part of the film...hahaha. This film is hilarious.

  • i like how he relaxes with a GUN TO HIS HEAD!

  • i read that Kilmer started imitating Brando during filming. at first, i didn't believe it... but now i've SEEN it... damn.

  • Wow, the main guy reminds me of Lupin from Harry Potter...

  • @NepalRocks123 that's because it's him.

  • @NepalRocks123 its the same guy :) David Thewlis

  • @twilightxmidna Yah i googled him after i finished watching the movie^_^

  • @shehenazi.

Thanks. I remember listening to that song in the summer of '95. Great!!

  • lol i love this movie

  • Wonderful movie, but after seeing Marlon Brando in God Father with that famous phrase, 'I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse' its quite shocking to see him play this part. He's good in this movie. I thought that was the real Marlon in the The God Father. Both movies EXCELLENT.

  • r they smoking weed

  • Val Kilmer is a hotty; the other guy is such an annoying moron

  • val is cool as shit, man. he was my fav batman

  • I totally agree! Val Kilmer is sooooo freaking handsome!

  • what is the name of that band that Val Kilmer is checking out well the smoking ?

  • The lady that plays Aissa is very pretty. I love her eyes

  • 5:34, Brando is very warm and fatherly in that scene. Nice to see, and he is wearing the most stylish headgear.

  • @anton1990 LMAO!!

  • lol at the bucket on brandos head @ 4:01

  • i has a bucket

  • its a very stylish bucket look at the striping lol

  • Val Kilmer(Batman Forever) is the one who plays Montgomery.

  • lol 2:50 coulda killed him

  • look up Bobby Hemmit on here

  • sp Aissa is cat human, but she was the most human of all the creatures in the island

  • who are the guys with the hoods at 1:04?

  • uhhhh... is hienaa the actor who plays hellboy? lol so has the same faciel structre

  • @evilfuzz86 No, the Sayer of the Law is played by the actor who plays Hellboy.

  • It would be best for the feline princess not to be like her bloated mad daddy daddy O! Bcuz

    he's a nut job!

  • this movie looks and feels incredably... B..

  • love the movie

  • i love the scene of him and his daughter, its real!! you know? its how people interact, she is not an animal, even though she is, she is dealt with, as say a teenager going through puberty!

  • yeah

it might be the only decent scene in the whole movie

  • thats just the beautiful acting brillance that is known as brando ^_^;

  • What song is Val Kilmer listening to with his walkman?

  • @sabellnocdrain I love that song. The song is called Bluster, by Salt.

  • they must had cheap ass gas cuz they b drivin on da island mayne for reel

  • Hahaha, I like the way you talk, Muzikluva. I wish I could put stuff as delicately as you do. Seeing long contrived intellectual statements on videos of deep subject matter as this one kinda become boring after a while. Thanks for tossing a lil variety in =]

  • lol

  • if you dony like it why you watching it??

  • There are movies I stopped watching in the middle, because they were so bad!! This one is interesting enough for me to finish watching!! It`s not so bad at all!!^^

  • this is a fav scene for me as brando was in the middle of his daughters suicide during this shoot (as i understand). the whole film was a train wreck, apart from brando, kilmer was going through a divorce (one which he still seems upset over) and the constant struggle for what kind of film it should have been. for some reason i enjoy watching this as it's just kilmer and brando f'ing around on holiday with a midget. quick fact, the midget was meant to be kilmers sidekick but brando used him

  • I love Marlon's icebuckethat.

  • haha me to!

  • why is the hyena still carying the cheetah or what ever that guy was skull

  • I guess if you think in animalistic way, itd a longing for his pack mate, they are both carnivores, kept in a world where they were denied the right to thrir wild nature

  • The world's greatest genetic scientist in the early 21st century apparently has yet to discover the air conditioner, or even the fan, for keeping cool in a tropical climate. Oh well, the caloric converter on the head makes for a good laugh.

  • @RJG1971 What is a caloric converter?

  • @RJG1971 Brain cancer from all the neurosurgeries from the 60's wireless research.

  • @Nueroactive Mental designing.

  • 04:42 "I think that...

Yes, my.. my c-caloric converter is empty...

    Would you fill it too..

Yes that's much better, (tap tap tap) AH! god yes! Oh yes god!

    Please forcefully forcefully.

Oh! Oh no! My word! (cough cough)

Not so strong! You have no idea how strong you can be!

You must be very very careful."

    Classic Brando

  • Eew. I didn't need to hear any of that from Brando. (Except the caloric converter part. That's awesome.)

  • Heh, Sad to say whenever I see this film

    Brando's performance reminds me of

Bela Lugosi during his Ed Wood films,

It's a visual trainwreck but you just can't look away from it.

  • this is my favorite movie

  • then you are a sad twat with no taste in films you fuckin eediot!

  • hey fuck u nigga! i didn't type that, my lil brother did...but still, fuck u!

  • dude if u hate the movie so much don't watch it.. get a life.. its sad u gotta start shit on youtube to feel important.

  • who?? lol

  • Does anyone have a summary of this film? I kinda don't get it..

  • Moreau was kicked out of the States because of the research he was doing (fusing human and animal dna) so he fled to an island and carried out his research there attempting to create a perfect race (no crime, hate etc). So David Thewlis arrives at the island and witnesses the results of Moreau's 17 years of research. The results do not turn out to be as pleasant as Moreau had hoped though.....

  • ...

  • If you dont like it, dont see it.

  • Crap, this is the end?

  • No I am at this minute adding the next part.
