  • Bad ass!

  • Pisses me off when dumbfucking foreigners substitute "britain" for "england" when it's britain they're talking about.

  • Man Americans can be really obnoxious.

Before you write some sort of predictable, distasteful comment; me saying you're obnoxious doesn't mean I hate you, your fellow countrymen, or your country. So save it.

  • Hand Salute!

    Too!

  • Even if there is a victor in a war no one has truely won...When they look at all they have lost for the war... everyone loses

  • This song should be a Hymn or a prayer.

  • I joined at 16 left at 44,loved and hated every second of it..........this song is for every mucker I lost on the journey, hopefully I'll have a beer over when I cross the line..... heads up.

  • How can you ever thank those who will never hear you say "thank you". How do you thank those who gave their life long before yours started? You can't.

The best we can hope to do is honor them by remembering what they sacrificed; their lives, so the rest of us wouldn't have to.

  • pass the sick bag ' there's to much testosterone here ....

  • @MrStewart149 F U MrStewart!

To the 20 bastards who dislike this, you better hope you wake to the boots of a US serviceman watching over you and protecting you and not the boots of tyranny and oppression. We owe a debt to these men that can never be repaid and should live accordingly. God Bless America and God Bless the soldiers that keep us safe. Antis can go to Hell.

  • SCOTLAND

  • I am proud to be an american of scottish decent, and even prouder of the men and women who serve in all the armed forces of the world. And this song is a wonderful tribute to them.

  • As a firefighter, courage, honor and sacrifice are at the core of our character. These traits are exemplified at the highest standards by our men and women of the armed forces. I can sit and write these comments in the warmth and safety of my home only because somewhere a Soldier, or Marine, or SEAL or Airman is cold and hungry making it possible. I have the HIGHEST respect and honor for those past and present who gave and are giving their lives for my freedoms. I salute you all.

  • LOL, you guys talk like everybody was american.

    hahaha

  • Bring our troops home....Very intense song....May God be with you all over seas...

To all others, remember those who won't be coming home.

  • FUCJING LOVE THIS SONG

  • this song is so amazing that i forgot the next song that i am going to search for

  • The Title 1979 - Who was Sgt MacKenzie

He was a solider, a Sgt in the Seaforth Highlanders. He went to fight in France during WW I and die after being bayoneted in extreme hand to hand combat that took place in the trenches. He died while protecting his fellow soldiers. He was just 35 years old.

  • @1031959 his son sings this doesnt he? or did he just write it?

  • Semper Fi

  • marcosinnine most there a ton of scottisn an irish blood in our army navy air force and marines so just honnor those who figth for county oh by the way i have scottish blood in

  • Joining the USAF very soon. This song and all who have fallen will inspire me not to give up. For they gave up their lives for me. I will follow their footstep's even if it means death.

  • I think marcosinnie should watch his tongue .... Scottish or not...you had best respect those that died in the service of their country...

  • @BottomLine58 he can say what the hell he likes.

  • Who was Sgt. Mackenzie?

  • @TheTile1979 Sgt. Mackenzie was a sergeant serving with the seaforth highlanders during the first world war, he was killed during fearce fighting while standing his ground and defending a fallen soldier, the song was written by his grandson

  • Why not get your own music to honour your brave, this is SCOTTISH music not american.

  • @marcosinnie I will not judge you for your opinions. However, I consider this song to be an honor to soldiers all around the world. It doesn't belong to any one country. Remember these words: Greater love hath no man, then to lay down his life for a friend.

  • @marcosinnie apparently you aren't not that bright. This video was dedicated to all fighting men, not just American, in general. You can tell by the inclusion of fighting men from various nations in the pictures. Near the end the video though the emphasis changes and it was specifically geared towards fallen Canadians. In the future, to save yourself the embarrassment of looking utterly stupid, take a moment to think before you post son. Reflexive stupidity will not get you far.

  • freedom needs soldiers.

Remember all who died for freedom.

semper fi to all my brothers in arms at the USMC

  • i know sgt makenzie this song made me think of him and my grand father who was in the war :'(

  • Thank you to all the veterans and their families of the United States Military. Without you I wouldn't have my freedom. You wear the most feared "boots" around. Keep kicking ass!

  • Freedom does not cum free

  • Perhaps the greatest complement I ever received was from a a Gulf War veteran who said everyone needed to do their time (military service). I replied I was a fire fighter....he replied back "Oh you've done your time."

To all those who step up in defense of our nation thank you...

  • Hooah my dear friends in Afghanistan....were I physically able, Id still be with you all.

  • This is a song for all soldiers; Yes, even the Germans

  • RIP to those troops and operators who died on aug 6.

  • I'm a US MARINE, and I come on here to listen to my favorite song, and I see all of these comments talking down to the US Military, and I can't help but feel proud I gave you the right to have that opinion.

  • @JacobRarick1337 those who've never served with men who would die for each other, for no other reason than they wear the same uniform and call each other brother will ever understand.......I feel sorry for them!

  • @JacobRarick1337 Thankyou for your service to our amazing country. My husband deployed to Iraq with the 1434th EN CO and I am very proud of what he and his unit accomplished there. I know first hand what this song represents. I am proud to be an Army wife! HOOAH!

  • @JacobRarick1337 I'm sorry you get the impression that so many comments talk down your service, I disagree, I read many more comments that respect your service than disparage it.

Regardless of what you may think, more of your fellow citizens respect you, and are grateful for what you've done than you realize. I hope you can find peace in that knowledge, because a majority of us know that without you, and those willing to sacrifice like you, this great nation would not stand for very long.

  • @JacobRarick1337 wach this please: Animated History of Poland in HD

  • @JacobRarick1337 AHMEN Sir...

  • @JacobRarick1337 Five out of my seven uncles were US MARINES, Dad and the Other Brother were US ARMY, how mean other relatives I'm not sure, one got The BRONZE STAR in Viet Nam, I missed it by one years for which I was Blessed.... For All I give thanks and gratitude for what I have and what those have given for which cost we will never fully know. And may God Bless Those Whom gave Their All !

  • @GodsLeftHand704 Nah. I'll respond. I don't see why it's bad to make Euro-trash rear its ugly head anyway. Bye bye, douche. That is, if you're actually going to leave. I can't trust you anymore. ;_;

  • @GodsLeftHand704 "I SPEAK DA TWOOF" is not a point. btw.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 I can see why you won't go back and actually read what I said about your USA-bashing. that doesn't excuse you from ignoring it though. That goes for pretending I didn't make it in the first place too.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 Fox News is wingnut bullshit. lol all caps. That's totally going to make me agree with you, and isn't a sign of desperation. So, the USA was orginally a British colony. Who the fuck cares? It's irrelevant today. If you're going to play that card, then I'll remind you of how piss poor the Crown treated us to the point to where a lot of us decided to rebel. You're still avoiding the point I made about your arguments. Maybe you should make the threat to threaten to stop posting now

  • @GodsLeftHand704 Psh, get over it. Not like you can do anything about it (unless you're an actual American). We've gotten through worse. And no, China isn't going to supplant the USA in economics, and I have my reasons to say that. I'd just like to shut that down before it starts.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 I'm so flattered you consider my insults more important than my actual counter argument to your idiotic Anti-Americanism. Go ahead and prance around about how mad you're making me. You're avoiding my points and so intellectually, you look like an idiot. So I guess we can't really trust your word about the "not posting again" points. Are you going to threaten to threaten to stop posting next?

  • I'll be a douche here. Name your nationality, or declare that it doesn't matter to you. Because In the first case I can find reason to trash it to hell, and in the 2nd case it'll confirm the fact that you can't tolerate whatever power happens to be dominant in the globe. Also, you're a liar who can't shut the fuck up and let someone else have the final word, you were supposed to stop posting like, a day ago.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 No, it isn't warranted. Valid criticism is. Stop getting your panties in a bunch because we're currently the dominant economy and military power. Your arguments could be made for pretty much any country that's gone to war and had collateral, destroyed other empires, groups, etc. which is pretty much everyone. So, why should anyone consider you anything other than some douche who happens to hate the USA because of our position?

  • @GodsLeftHand704 Weren't you supposed to be leaving, anyway?

  • Plenty. "write what you want imbeciles. read, think, learn. your government treats you like mushrooms. they keep you in the dark, throw shit on you and expect you to grow." That right there sure sounds like something a conspiracy theorist would say. If you are, you're a fucktard, if you aren't, then congrats, you're still a douche. I'm not a fan of some of the things the government's done, but trashing the USA is completely unwarranted. So, fuck off.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 Sorry dude, but the world doesn't work that way. Love us or hate us, we ain't going anywhere. Also, you're probably a conspiracy theorist.

  • Bring em home from afghanistan, pay em, and NEVER FIGHT ANOTHER WAR AWAY FROM US SOIL EVER AGAIN!

  • when i hear this. i cry every time. and i am not ashamed for it.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 You're either a troll or think that listening to our wingnuts is enough to understand American politics and policy during the Cold War and to the present day. In both cases, go fuck yourself.

    Dear Dad,

A funny thing happened to me yesterday at Camp Bondsteel

(Bosnia): A British army officer walked up to me in the PX,

and told me he thought we (Americans) were a bunch of

cowboys and were going to provoke a war in Iraq. He said if

such a thing happens,we wouldn't be able to count on the

Just like in ALL NATO exercises, the US would shoulder 85%of

the burden, and provide 85% of the support, as evidenced by

the fact that this English officer was shopping in the

He began to get belligerent at that point, and I told him if

  • To be clear on the USMC organization. The department of the Navy (a sub department of the DoD) controls both the USMC and the US Navy. The USMC does not have any non combat personnel, such as medics or religious clerics. Those men are supplied to them by the US Navy. As the saying goes, "Every Marine is a rifleman first" which is correct in regards to how they train. They are a STRIKE FORCE, meant to be the first men out in combat at the start of any combat operation that needs them.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 Funny how you blatantly attack the USA without giving any particular examples of the USA's shortcomings apart from faulty intelligence. Either substantiate your baseless attacks or shut the fuck up.

  • @GodsLeftHand704 : What an ignorant pathetic idiot you are

  • i have a uncle who fought in vietnam. he was on a truck with a a few other men when they hit a mine. he saw his men did right in front of him he couldnt move becuse he blew his leg off. he survived but he will never forget them dieing.

  • @thekiller678

    yeah, thats right...

  • It warms my heart to know that the USA stand ready to help defend freedom all over the world. Europe can never thank you enough for your sacrifices during the last 100 years!

  • Oddly this song is about WW1, a war that seems to be forgotten quite often.

  • Staun ma groon al nae be afraid

  • Some how thank you doesn't quite cover it....

  • I love to learn about World War 2. To me if I could visit anytime period in history, I would go to war-torn Europe 1940-1945. I always imagine myself experiancing the war first hand. But thats me.

  • @alttany

I've thought of that as well. However, after hearing myfather-in-law talk of being a kid in the London Blitz, his uncle talking about fighting in North Africa, Italy and, especially, at Monte Cassino I wouldn't want to go back. After all that though my father-in-law and my husband both served in the Army; happily they didn't have to fight like they did in WW2.

  • Outstanding.

  • to all my MARINE brothers semper fi

  • @jharley6148 long live the army, marines, air force and the navy URA!

  • Fall in.

  • RIP Sgt. Kenneth Gibson, A-Co 1-14th INF Golden Dragons, 25th ID, US Army

  • Aco. 1st of the15 3 ID [Can Do] got ur robot hanging

  • A single nuke could take out all of them "proud" soldiers.

We need combat robots and high tech weaponry, not weak human soldiers who fear and starve.

  • @1poiuztrewq2

After USMC training, you don't 'fear' very much...

  • @bananacockroach thanks for helpin me bro in my fight againts this jerk.

  • @bananacockroach many men die scared many men die sad those are normal men, when a marine dies he dies with honor he dies with strength and he dies knowing that he was a united states Marine. My gunny told me this the first time i asked if he was scared in his first firefight.

  • @1poiuztrewq2 and you can shut the fuck up. and a single rainstorm can take out your pussy robots. show some respect, a$*hole.

  • @1poiuztrewq2 You just trollin', robots can't survive nuclear blasts either.

  • MARINE RECON...........SEMPER FI

  • Also personofpeeps all though I don't know u I want to say " Thanks to your dad, may he be safe and sound and return soon "

  • Watching this makes me so proud to be an American !!! Also my favorite part of this video is the picture when they say swet and blood. God bless all in the armed forces !!!!

  • i wanna dedicate this song to my father who is currently in aphganistan still serving

  • fuck aryans. loyal soldiers are the master race.

  • This is just epicness pure... it's... EPIC! I honor the brave men and women who died for an idea, for Democracy, for the West World, for us, for me, for every single person here.

    I draw my cap.

  • OOOO-RAHHH

  • everytime i see vids like this, i remember what my grandfater told when i first heard his storys about his days as sargent during WWII- all gave some, some gave all

  • America!

  • Why aren't there any pics of the Wermach, Congs, Iraqian, Or japanese army? They all fought together and died together, They also deserve some tribute! Even tho they fought for evil dosen't mean they had a choice! And evry single enemy of the states aren't evil!

  • @MrRikardoe so your telling me that the germans didnt have a choice to kill millions of jews in the prison camps, the japanese didn't have to kill PRISONERS in the bataan death march.

  • @TheBieberrebellion The americans and English diden't have to kill thousends of civilians in dresden, The americans diden't have to make mass prison camps in Iraq where they torture presumed terrorists, There aren't any good sides in a conflict, NEVER a good side, The only good thing is the brotherhood that the soldiers have to eachother, And it dosen't matter if their side wins or not their story has to be told!

  • @MrRikardoe this is for amerca . not foreign. gtfo.

  • @imaddictedtowow112 this isnt even an american song, this song is foreign

  • @MichiganFan39 the pictures bro. Music is just sounds.

  • @imaddictedtowow112 pictures are american yes, but song isn't, the song is foreign, so don't tell people to get off this is american, if their foreign, their here for the song not the pictures

  • @MichiganFan39 Lemme rephrase. I ment. this tribute (pictures) is dedicated to america and its soldiers.

  • @imaddictedtowow112 and let me rephrase, people coming to this video are here for the song, im here for the song, im american, and yes i like this video twice as much because of the pictures, but the reason im here is because of the song, and you told the foreign ppl to get off, but their here for the same reason, the song

  • @MichiganFan39 I ment for people like mrRikardoe whos like whys there no pics of foregn countries armies

  • @imaddictedtowow112 oh, i see, i failed to see that comment, but if you mentioned his comment of what he said i would have said you were right

  • @MichiganFan39 I'm glad we settled this in a civilized manner.

rather than turning on the caps lock and cussing each other out.

    like more arrogant people do.

  • @imaddictedtowow112 i don't talk in caps, i'd swear, but there is no need for caps. plus im more civilized when it comes to talking about warfare or the armed forces, when it comes to sport, i swear alot, but im very serious on a topic like this

  • csodaszép :)

  • @321 illusion who gives a shit what you say we still blows hit up now shut the fuck up fucking French euro trah

  • only the dead have seen the end of war -plato there are no communists. there are no republicans. there are no democrats. no liberals. no tea baggers or nutjobs. no russians no americans no french. no nothing. There are only Humans. For those who journey into fire and thunder, and for those who do not return, and die in defense of that ideal, we give our eternal gratitude. Long live Liberty
  • For thousands of years, as they say,

"The true object of WAR is PEACE."

  • @TheUkearchy Nice. Noble answer. There will always be war. Yes. But: not a reason to point out injustice that leads to 'em. Plus only 500 caracters an answer? Pff. We could probably argue for 100 of comments or have a beer instead.
