Don't like the "you don't have to go to texas for a chainsaw massacre" bit...comparing newer films to hit films always seems to make the new film less good.

Just saw this at a midnight showing, and I have to say it could be one of my favorite movies. It's just pure, complete, and total schlock from beginning to end, and is damn fucking proud of it - and I kind of admire that. It really sums up the "grindhouse" movies of that era the best. It's a shitty movie I can enjoy immensely without it being ironic appreciation like so many other shitty movies. It doesn't take itself too seriously, nor to little. It's just what it is, which is fucking great.

I wanna see this. I saw a midnight screening of Evil Dead at a local theater a few weeks ago and they played this trailer and it had the audience roaring with laughter. Looks like great stuff.

I love this movie. I bought it and was well worth the 20 bucks. I like it a hell of a alot more then Texas Chainsaw Massacre has more gore, more titties, and has some really funny parts due to the bad acting.

Oh, my god! This is filmmaker Eli Roth's (CABIN FEVER, HOSTEL) favorite film of all. I have just gotta see this cult classic that Roth loved, and hope it's better than THE TEAXS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, which really sucked and was one of the worst & scariest films I've ever seen. Must watch on DVD remastered!!!!!

This was incredible to watch in the theatre. Three of us blew off school to see this movie. As for "absolutely no one under 17 will be admitted" that definitely wasn't a problem in Queens, NYC.

The ending of this movie was awesome too.

"Absolutely no one under 17 admitted." I skipped school one day to see this. It was a on a triple bill with Richard Pryor:Here And Now" & D.C. Cab(!). I was all of 14 years old then. The ticket taker didn't give a shit. As long as i had three bucks,i was in. I still thank that woman to this day.

The "Eric Twin Theaters in Center City Philadelphia"??? I saw "The Boogey Man" & "Happy Birthday to Me" at that theater, along with my aunt and my 5 year old cousin. I cut school one day rainy day. My cousin turned out to be a lover of this genre. Sad to say he past away a couple years ago.

Actually, that is more of a TV spot than a theaterical trailer, dude. Good sleaze, still. I love the explotation cinema & horror film genre. I also heard Eli Roth, the director of HOSTEL, said this film is his favorite (said so on the back cover on DVD).
