OK! To settle the discussion about whether Jareth is the villain or not, I'll just do it myself.

Jareth only did what Sarah asked him to. She wished her brother away and he did it. And then he TURNED BACK TIME to let her save Toby. So, Jareth is obviously NEUTRAL. Sure, he have her a poisoned peach. That's the villainous quality. But he did her multiple acts of kindness. (And I'm 14. Only seen this movie, what, 3 times.)

As a little girl watching this scene I always knew I wanted this as my wedding song for our first dance.
