Yeah, love how you people say Sasuke is way inferior despite the fact:

A. Sasuke is 5 years younger, if Sasuke happened to be 21 its doubtful it would even be a contest.

B. Sasuke has an Eternal Mangekyou now, and considering he could resist Itachi's genjutsu before he even had a basic mangekyou shows Sasuke's got skills.

C. Itachi was going blind, even if Itachi was'nt dying from some illness in 3-4 years he would have been nearly useless.

The emphasis of this fight was to show Sasuke's growth. Itachi's jutsu were no longer able to best him as they had in the past granted the guy is like half dead from the beginning. But yeah Sasuke had no answer for Susanoo, luckily for him Itachi didn't intend to give him such a fate.
