  • Fuuuuuuck ...

  • Damnn thats crazy

  • His knee can bend

  • I reall makes you wounder how good could he have been if that didn't happen. Because he is prrtty good right now.

  • Damn....the guards from Skyrim got off easy compared to this

  • yup

  • Dare I say it?

I used to be a great runningback, but then I took a linebacker to the knee.

  • @FeebleNosemanny Then again he is in his 9th year in the NFL this year

  • @jddrewinduval It's a joke, like, I took an arrow to the knee thing. Kind of a running gag.

  • This literally made me feel sick

  • "Yep" - 0:11

  • watchu talkin bout willis?

  • was he on the bills for that or broncos????????

  • @SuperLineman66 He was in college, playing for the University of Miami

  • @SuperLineman66

    he was still in collage.

  • Im pretty sure your knees not supposed to bend that way...

  • i remember watching this, it is quite depressing because i thought it would ruin his chances at a pro career

    apparently not!

  • What Mcgahee experienced was an injury called the "Unhappy Triad." This is the complete tearing of 3 ligaments: (1) ACL (2) MCL and (3) Medial Meniscus.

  • mcgahee just got a new fan

  • Worse than theismann

  • @nebhuskers923 definitly not worse then theismann.... not even close, this is just a torn ACL. it happinens in football all the time, this one just looked worse then most, theismann snapped his fuckin leg, his bone was out of his skin, leg snap = carrer ending. torn acl = miss season or two.

  • @TCool12389 Do some research. Its not just an ACL inury he completely blew out 3 of the 4 ligaments in his knee. Wayyyy more serious than an ACL injury.

  • @unexplainedtragedy25 i kno, but that wasnt my point, my point is that it is no where near as bad as theismans.

  • why do i keep watching this!!!

  • my fathers reaction to this was priceless.

Start video: "I remember this game, It was a good one...

0:02 "Oh" (Covers mouth) (Muffled) "Holy Shit"

  • THE U IS DONE.

  • you guys are obviously soccer players or something, your miami fans that dont know the game of football. ohio state did not only win bc of mgahee getting hurt, mgahee had a rough estimate of about 50 years the whole game off of twenty somethin carries, thats an awful stat, and no maurice clarett wasnt much better that game, but craig krenzel carried the bucks on his back the whole game, as well as dorsey, but in the end, ohio state was simply better

  • only reason ohio state won !!!

  • EVERY time I see this my body gets weak and I feel like crying out in pain

  • Acl mcl and pcl torn

  • Cant believe he hung on to the ball all the way to the ground...wow..

  • This man is my motivation. I just tore my acl and mcl.

  • @Mulaa5 Hahahah! your DONE.

  • @KLove3232 lol i can tell your a lame 4 that comment. Probably never played a sport in ya life bum

  • @Mulaa5 Nope. I'm pretty fuckin' awesome. Chances are that guy will probably never even walk right again unless he is as tough as General McGahee himself. Which I'm 99.9999% sure he isn't. Sorry Bro, just being honest.

  • I wish Jim Ross was calling that

  • @arnoldwarrior15 BAH GAWD HIS KNEE WAS BROKEN IN HALF

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP THE GAME

  • Miami probably wins the national title regardless of the whole P.I. situation if it weren't for this ridiculous hit. Most people forget Miami got the ball with 2:06 left to play at the Ohio State 26 after Parrish had an awesome return. If McGahee's still in, the chances of scoring goes up drastically on that drive, plus the OTs.

The only people who are ever taught to hit from the knees down are lineman. And you don't lead with your helmet, that's how players get broken necks.

  • @hockeybrianboy Miami probably wins the national title "IF" lol

  • @hockeybrianboy Still bitter... That was a legal hit. Allen caught McGahee with his shoulder. Taking out the offensive players legs has been around in football for YEARS... His intent was to take McGahee off of his feet, not to hurt him.

Miami was supposed to win this game with their third string playing... Funny how that didn't happen, even with their starters.

  • "OH MY GOODNESS...OH LORD!"

  • O-H!

  • Miracles of modern medicine. This is just as bad as Theisman's break, and he never saw another play, and Willis plays in the NFL today.

  • and he only got it sprianed

  • and he only got it sprianed

  • Willis ran for over 1700 yds that year with 28 tds...oh yeah and he had over 300 yds receiving...not bad for a sophomore year. Any haters can fuck themselves. Willis left college 35-3, undefeated against FSU, undefeated against UF, with a national championship...AND even with this injury managed to be a first round pick that same year. So hate Willis all you want...he still managed to have a successful NFL career and has more money than you will ever dream of seeing.

  • @odoylerules1231 On top of that, he shredded the Vkings D this past Sunday.

  • hoooooly fuck wasn't ready for that

  • It was definitely a bad injury, but he's playing right now. So tight!!!

  • I remember this game like yesterday. I think thats the worst sport injury I've ever seen.

  • after watchig this ma knee hurts

  • It's a textbook tackle for a DB on a physical RB. Go for the legs. It's just unfortunate that McGahee was planting with that leg at the same time. I had forgotten this happened. That Miami team was beast. Great career comeback for the kid.

  • nope, and please don't make me laugh. this isn't a crackback block or remotely dirty play. an injury is clearly NOT its intent. it's a textbook tackle on a much bigger player when he's just picking up a head of steam. as Fouts said -- and I laud him 'cause he certainly doesn;t get it right often. -- "Clean play by Allen, but a devastating injury for McGahee." if you want to lok at dirty play, just watch the'Canes throughout this game, both sides of the ball.

  • @truthero your retarded!did you see will allen's reaction?he was making the cut thoat sign.how the hell you have audacity to say miami was the one who was dirty i don't know.robert reynolds clearly tried to hurt winslow,he put a curt angle ankle lock on him.your a fucking idiot.

  • If I was his teamate I would have taken will allen out of the game on a crackback block. and...I would have gone low and taken the 15 yard penalty. If it is legal to hit offence on the knees then fair game for defenders as well. Change the rules and you will stop the cheapshots on defenseless offensive receivers and runners.

  • 2 shot's of wisky, pat him on the shoulder and tell him get back out there son it's just a scratch

  • Comment removed

  • ouch i watched this like 5 times look at his leg when he is running its fine then CRACK his knee cap POPS then caves in then when he falls it gets hit bye the lineman....EWWWW

  • Oh Lord that is a serious injury for whilis McGahee Yep rofl

  • He's gonna be sore after that...

  • Theres nothing illegal about it. McGahee is a small dude, and he was smaller than Allen. You can't tackle someone whose smaller than your standing up.

  • what a cheap shot

  • @symbal777 Legit.

  • This game was so good. One of the best ever...I remember this injury all too well. Fuckin nasty.

  • Comment removed

  • as a miami fan this was a very very depressing game to watch

  • @HandsOfSugar i like hearing a miami fan who doesnt say they got screwed. thank you for admitting that it wasnt a screw job and just that it was one of the greatest games in fbs history

  • @schelbboy22 i think it was a good game but in ever game theres a bad call it's in the past so i dont talk bout it if fellow mia u fans do there stupid we got to get shit straight now and this year game was ok if j.harris would stop cting like a bitch when he throw the damn ball. but i hope osu and dau play each other again next year.

  • @schelbboy22 how can you possibly agree with that pass interference call??

  • @TheSafariAri i don't but i do believe there was a penalty on the play. i think its funny that alot of people for miami (not making any assumptions to your allegiance with either team) argue over the "pass interference" call when they dont even remember that the game never should have gone this far. if it wasnt for the refs hosing ohio state in regulation before the field goal the game was 17 14 osu. either way it was still a great game. and with every great game comes controversy.

  • still not as bad as Napolean McCallum

  • I honestly thought he'd never play again. But he and Ray Rice have become a tough dynamic duo in Baltimore

  • The fact that he came back from that injury is amazing in itself.

  • @monroeguy82 99.9 percent of people have no idea how hard something like that is to do they just see him out there and are like "isnt that guy who got hurt a few years ago" coming back from an injury like that already gives him an ultimate respect

  • lol odoyles a biiiitch

  • I go to Nebraska, there's nothing wrong with this hit. That's final.

  • lol @ Keith Jackson. "YEP"

  • @odoylerules1231 Im pretty sure that Ohio State just throttled the Hurricanes

  • @odoylerules1231 and who won that game saturday? come on i know who it was i just want your douchebag self to admit it. live in the past say we robbed you when literally EVERYONE else says different

  • yep

  • That's nasty. Ohio State 2010 Champs

  • @34randomname Lol. Shoulda known we were gonna lose to Wisconsin. I knew it before the season started.

  • I remember watching the game thinking, if it's a legal tackle, why not take out every RB's knee out? I'm not a fan of either team, but this was pathetic. You bucknuts had the biggest thug on the team (Clarett) but I'm sure all of you still view UM as "THUG U". I hope UM beats the ever living piss out of you. Look at UM's schedule this year and pretty much every year since they joined the ACC. They schedule tough OOC games while you schedule U of Ohio, and schools I cant even remember. U suck

  • @spreston4200 haters gonna hate

  • @spreston4200 you just say that because we are much better than you LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @spreston4200 - As an eleven year veteran of football officiating, I can tell you that this is a completely legal hit.

  • @spreston4200 Lol. They lost. Good call.

  • God, you f**knuts are so annoying. Yeah it may be a "clean" tackle per the rules. But there goes a unsaid rule that you don't take a cheap shot at someone's knee. If there wasn't why would you take out every RB's knee on a running play. Most "decent" tacklers go for a waist takedown. That was the most pathetic tackle I've ever seen in 25+ years of watching college football. I'm not a fan of either team, but it was obvious that the intent was to take Willis out of the game.

  • @spreston4200 Do you really think he went into that hit going "I'm gonna fuck this dude up."? I highly doubt it.

  • Totally clean my ass! Only bitchass motherfuckers go at a man's knees like that! Anyone who says otherwise is surely full of the bitchassness I speak of.

  • @daddyeyze Of course it wasn't a "good" hit. It was very dangerous as the result shows. However, it was not illegal in any way.

  • this injury ruined him, was easily a top 5 pick in the draft before he sustained the injury.... was a complete monster, 4.28 forty, strong as a horse, quick, etc

  • No really.... fuck him

  • ouch!!!!

  • makes me not want to do any physical activities ever again :/

  • wow, no wonder so many teams passed on mcgahee on draft day DAAAMNNNN!

  • maaaan thats hard to watch

  • pussy

  • yeah i tore my acl, mcl, and minescus wrestling. it looked something like like that.

  • this is what happened to me on tuesday and it hurt!!

  • What a boss mcghee fucks shit up ravens for life bitches.

  • and he still plays like a raven :)

  • My reaction: JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY

  • McGahee did not come back from that injury in the game. He now plays for the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Rice took his spot.

  • did he come back from that injury ???

  • yes

  • @CPportisskins ye she was unfortunate , but the thing is in any sport if u look at most bad injurys were the knee is concerned is a challenge when the injured persons foot is planted , itss bad timing but most of all its so BAD Luck

  • @improm2u ya he came bak from that injury got drafted by the bills then was traded to the ravens if im not mistaken for sum reason i wanna say he was on another team but im pretty sure he was not that was his last cololege football game he even sat out his first season in the nfl to full recover for the bills i was a huge mcgahee fan as well as the miami hurricane's and dolphins

  • @stee349955 well thx maan for that heads up. that is a horrible looking ingury , acl pcl all the ligements gone in that hit, ..........its a mAssive injury

im so glad he hit the field again

  • Clean tackle. You Canes fans need more cheese and crackers with your whine. Jacory Harris gonna get his clock cleaned. Heyward gonna plant his ass. Pryor will have a field day all day, blitz him I dare ya.

  • "Clean hit by Wilhelm, devastating injury for Willis McGahee." - Dan Fouts

  • Dude tough az fuck wat yall dnt realiZe iz even wit that hit he didn't fumble shit iz crazy my first reaction wuld have been grab my leg he still sucured the ball all the way down sad thing a similar injury happen to my gud friend griag Cooper(2) get well soon coop the whole mound rooting for u

  • Try speaking English you retard.

  • my goodness i remember watching that play happen, it looks even worse today!

  • miami will kick the shit out of osu go canes

  • okay all u haters, osu won that game, WE WON OUR BOWL GAME THIS SEASON! and umm remind me again what happened to miami? oh that's right they lost. :) and how can u say they purposely keyed on mcgahees knee in that tackle? its called football, and that was called a TACKLE!

  • fuck osu wait till next year miami will whoop that ass go canes the fuckeyes knew the only way to beat the canes do a dirty hit and take out mcgahee because that was their best chance to win go canes 6 time national champs

  • criami will get their asses handed to them in 2010. thanks for coming, drive safely cry babies.

  • the ravens should trade mcgahee for a new guard who dosent suck balls like marshall yanda. i mean its to much hidden talent with mcgahee running 2nd string

  • OSU Buckeyes all day!!!! btw McGahee has two big injuries he can annouce if he becomes a hall of famer lmao

  • bitch... osu sucks balls guarentee that they lose the rose bowl.

  • AHAHAHAHAHA we won dat BIOTCH!!!!!

  • with help from the refs on a non pass interference call.

  • AAHHHHH BS we won

  • @mpkeller27 ya... fuck you bitch...O-H!

  • I remember that game. Bucks won that night, but that injury was cringing to watch on t.v.

  • I know man...Even to this day on youtube it is gross to watch...

  • i like ray rice though, he's pretty damn good. but the first time i watched this on tv back in 2002 i cried because i was 11, i remember asking my mom "how could anyone do that to somebody."

    lmao.

  • He had loads of talent but this might have ruined his NFL career. Lost his starting job to Ray rice

  • Man this still makes me cringe, just like the first time I watched it.

  • Me too!!! I haven't saw this Fiesta bowl in over 8 years until today...And It still makes me cringe as well..

  • his leg turns into a flamingo leg

  • No he was not tearing it up he was just getting started wow we should have not lost that game but thats what we do we beat our selfs came in to cocky! Remember we should have been in the bcs game three years in a row got screwed in 2000, killed nebraska in 2001, and the bad call in 2002! We sent 19 players in the first round in three years best team ever!

  • LOL thats a random comment....

  • just goes to show how perseverance always prevails. may not have the same athletic ability he would have today, but grew as a player and learned the brain-element of the game which makes you a lot faster.

  • The exact same thing just happened vs New Mexico State today involving our Kicker. Fucker took out his leg on a kick return.

  • Actually no it's not. Their injuries were vastly different.

  • mcgahee would of been SOOO good if he didn't have his knee snapped backwards. he is lucky to be playing anymore.

  • He should have been the next barry sanders he REALLY was that good before that day

  • 5 touchdowns 2 games hes killn the joint right now big ups willy

  • is this why he runs with no power and is slow??

  • I was watching this game. He was tearing up Ohio State and was on his way to being a top 5 pick. I thought for sure his career was over. He's lost a step but dude still grinding out every yard

  • He wasn't tearing up tOSU. Clarett and Mcgahee never did jack shit in that game. Neither team had a solid running game during the entire course of the game.

  • Actually both teams had a solid defense against the run in the game. McGahee's only play of impact was a counter that he cut in field the other direction for a touchdown, and Mo Clarett had 2 short yardage rush touchdowns.

  • Willis has had more shit happen to him throughout his career than anyone I've ever heard of and STILL shows the fuck out in the NFL.

This was the offensive version of Sean Taylor.

  • yeah because they went to the same skool.. willis still hasnt had a breakout year and he gets tired before halftime thats too much he will never be an elite.

  • A cheap shot. A planned hit on Mac.

He was taking control the game and the Luckeyes knew it.

  • "Luckeyes" lol. "Cheap shot" theres no such thing as a cheap shot.

  • I'll tell you what, thats a man's man right there. I don't know why he doesn't get more press clippings, I mean a normal person probably wouldn't run right let alone do the things he does (I know he's not normal). Godspeed WIllis and Good luck on the season Canes, nice way to starting the season beating FSU and G-Tech

  • serious my ass. willis fucked everyone up even after this injury. this is pussy shit for him

  • If it wasn't for this hit, Miami would of won the game. Ohio State should have sent a thank you card to Miami afterwards for gift wrapping this national championship for them. We gave that shit away.

  • I dont understand how u can base it off a hit. One hit doesnt change a game

  • yeah im a ohio state fan now but back then i liked hurricanes 2 and i felt bad for him when that happened but he is a beast have to give him credit

  • and he is still playing pro football BEAST GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn

  • You could tell Dan Fouts was like HOLY FUCK

  • ooooooodamn, miracle, thank god he's still playin, love the canes, ken dorsey, portis, reed, mcgahee, winslow, shockey, taylor, and many many more on one team got damn, pisses me off ohio state (who cant win shit) won that damn game......fuckers

  • They didn't win it. They stole it

  • im an Ohio State fan but hes a great guy its just unfortunate that he got injured like that

  • o my fucking god you know how fucking bad that probably it felt

  • yup.

  • that injury is jus gruesome in real speed but when u slow it down its a miracle he still walkin let along playin pro football. besides the injury the game was a good 1 besides that PI in OT. that was a horrible call nd im not a canes fan i like the Tigers of LSU( 1st 2 time BCS Champion btw)

  • like a chicken leg :p

  • to all you haters, i like to see you play after that injury. He's not only playing football but with some of the best athletes in the world. Look for a breakout season. O and go Canes. Willis#23

  • right he probably would have been the best runningback in history he was well rounded and was not just good at everything he was great at everything he had an amazing combine he would have had tremendis speed to go along with his strength

  • True story. Dude has had his leg shattered, concussions and god knows how many other injuries and is STILL one of the better runningbacks in the NFL. Shame this had to ever happen.

  • da bills suck bitch!

  • get owned willis

  • How come he is the one that always gets jacked up?? I swear man.. Look at what happened to him against the steelers in the playoff game.. He got knocked the hell out!!

  • poor willis

  • my dawg willis still managed to make moves after college, he went down but he didnt go out. canes 4 life!
