I am with bssist on this, I wanna know why you think it suck. You have the right to your opinion but posting a video with the description that it sucks makes people wanna know exactly what about it that sucks.
I find your comments very curious. You have the right to not like Dolly, or anyone you choose to dislike. "This video sucks" is a subjective commentary without substance. What is it that you dislike so much? You may have valid commentary and no one has the right to tell you that your opinions are wrong. Is it the the concept of the song? Is it a desire to sensor the idea being expressed based on a religious doctrine you wish to promote? Did Dolly fail to pay attention to you in grade school?
I've always loved Dolly's songs and her personality. But this was not enjoyable to me. At all. I haven't seen Dolly in a long time until this video. I found it hard to look at her with so much plastic/ cosmetic surgery. She used to be pretty.

How can anyone take a multimillionaire seriously when they say "imagine no possessions"? My understanding is that Dolly doesn't need to imagine it, she could just think back to her childhood. Having tried both not having and having possessions, she clearly prefers the latter.

I and some friends had a group who would do riff tracks on top of music videos, but they turned out to be reluctant to actually do the audio editing. I don't presume to speak for the Captain, but I assume he/she means that Dolly used John Lennon's song as an opportunity to show off herself in an "Aren't I wonderful?" sort of way. Ironically, that's exactly what the Captain is doing by posting a video that sucks in his/her opinion for the sole purpose of making fun of it.
This video DOESN'T suck. Nothing can compare to John Lennon's original verson of "Imagine", but Dolly doesn't do a bad job with her version, and it's wonderful to see that old footage of John and Yoko.

What exactly do you mean by "celebrating herself?" I'm not quite sure if I understand what you mean, or if it even makes any sense. Just asking.

I don't presume to speak for the Captain, but I assume he/she means that Dolly used John Lennon's song as an opportunity to show off herself in an "Aren't I wonderful?" sort of way. Ironically, that's exactly what the Captain is doing by posting a video that sucks in his/her opinion for the sole purpose of making fun of it.

This video DOESN'T suck. Nothing can compare to John Lennon's original verson of "Imagine", but Dolly doesn't do a bad job with her version, and it's wonderful to see that old footage of John and Yoko.
