Let Me Show You The Door: It was the first video of The Tea Party. It was shot on the roof of The Loop/The Coach and Horses, a local Windsor bar that the Tea Party used to play at here in town back in the early 90's. Rumour has it that the "indie" CD was partially recorded in The Coach and Horses, which lent it a certain ambiance that couldn't be replicated otherwise.
@Witch13Cat The copy I had (which sadly has since disappeared) said on the inside notes "Recorded in a spacious attic" or something like that...I think the majority was just done in Jeff Martin's attic...it's a kickass album, they're still finding their sound in it of course, experimenting but it's got some brutally cool blues licks in it and little hints of where they ended up going on Splendor.
I Just saw Jeff Martin with his new band "The Armada" with there first shows of the 2008 tour....absolutely fucken killer....the tea party are sadly finished forever but the Armada have an awesome sound and jeff's lyrics/vocals/guitar playing are still brilliant... look out for the Armada, all tea party/jeff martin fans will love it(5 tea party songs in the set too)
No, this was the only single from the the infamous "indie record" just called "The Tea Party"...personally I love some of the songs on that record...Watching What the Rain Blows In, Goodman Rag...classic...
Holy shit, hahaha, look at their hair.. far cry from what I'm used to. Damn early '90s, lmao.

@ZarathustrasCrown Wow, the original copies of this album are very rare. Its too bad you no longer have it....I sympathize with you:)
I agree! the Tea Party sound was very similar to their Splendor Solis album.
Thanks for the info about the attic sound:)
cheers!

They came so far, in the 4 years after this...Hard to believe the album that followed this gave us Sister Awake...
And don't even get me started on The Halcyon Days

The album that followed this was Splendor Solis. Sister Awake was on The Edges Of Twilight which came after that.

Wasn't their a version of this on Splendor Solis?
I've only been a fan since January, I have yet to get a copy of Splendor Solis(which I want. SO FREAKING BAD) or Seven Circles...
Is it just me, or does Jeff look like Tom Hanks in this video?
