I would disregard the responses to ur q. I race an F1 sidecar myself, they may sound a bit different as we get to fit much bigger airboxs which u cant fit on a bike and our exhausts are a much different shape and length (headers/midpipe) there are no differences in the engines. they are motorcycle engines, GSXR1000 and R1 usually in the F1 class, as far as I am aware there are no 125/250cc classes, 2stroke engines are not used much these days but they were 500cc for f1 and 350cc for f2 class
What's the difference with the sound of a gp bike and a sidecar? They're both bike engines

The the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc classes are all 2 stroke motors.

Hmmm maybe in the area where I live (North Kanto Area) rains less than other parts in Japan.
But still rains a lot, compared to Sao Paulo (Brazil) for ex.
