Was this the Hugo tornado? If I remember correctly this was May 25th? because I remember before Hugo there was a tornado in Coon Rapids witch is ware I live and missed me my 3 miles if that!
You are right! This is like the contest cab, but that is something I got wrong, the date; I've annotated the video to show the correction, if you take a peek at it now.
Right; in fact, as the crow flies, Hugo is about 9 miles from Shoreview. I don't know any siren that can carry that far. I need to try and change the info on my video.
We hear best the on from Vadnais Heights at Rice Street, a 123db Sentry 10v2t, to the east of us. However, as these downdrafts are usually from the NW, we probably got some cross-feed from the Martha Lake 128db EAS Tempest 128 db, albeit it is 1.7 miles to the NW of us. By the way, that was a hot-dog bonfire going in the fire pit out back, at the time. I had to continue working on the deck and had them watching my back, in case something came down in our vicinity.
I know that the 2001 replaced a 10v2tand I know of the whereabouts of 1 of them. But I know that shoreview has quite a few sirens in the area. Our county is known for the sentry's

Are you sure those are Hugo Sirens? I work in Shoreview and that sounds allot like the one outside of my work.
