  • I love the Ludy's, Ellerslie, and up to now all of the Bravehearted Thots. As passionate as this is, it is not Scriptural. Mr. Manley says "there isn't such a thing as lukewarm Christians." I'm afraid that Jesus disagreed with you there.

Revelation 3:14 God speaks to the "church of the Laodiceans" and says "thou art LUKEWARM" (vs. 16)

  • Solus Christus!

    ..a sermon worth listening,a hard rebuke..yet..so humbling...

  • Hate to rain on the love party but I have two problems with what Mr. Manley said.

    1) We are dictated by Jesus, just as he was dictated by the Father. If we are dictated by one being dictated, then it a round about. We are dictated by the TRINITY people.

    2) If your not all out your not a Christian. I know I'm lacking, I'm 17. I know I have struggles. I'm going through a hard time. I'm not all our for Jesus. Does that mean I'm not a Christian? No, we are all saved by grace. Nothing can take that.

  • @deutschefussballer

    1. However the only way to interact in any way to the Trinity is through the payment of Jesus Christ, the payment of the cross is everything.

    2. The only way to be all out for Christ is by grace, you can't muster up anything on your own to follow Him. So you are either all out for Jesus, clothed in Him, or you aren't really for Jesus at all. There is no such thing as a lukewarm Christian.

  • @CaptMactavish37

    1. The payment of Christ was direct by the father. Then we were given the spirit. To much focus on one part of the trinity is denying the other two. They are are equally important because they are one.

    2. Then there are not many Christians in the world. Define all out, then maybe we can continue the situation

  • @kaliselena...YES!!! I'm trying to go through the setapartlife posts at work and my heart is literally screaming "AAAHHH!!!" in agreement!

  • I can't agree with the theology of this video, but I surely agree with the Spirit of it!

God must be today's experience, or He won't be in today at all.

Would be great to learn to live it thru days on daily basis...

  • @Merlin2010ad can't agree how?

  • @Bravehearted1000 It is not balanced up. 80% could use this words to create ultra-extra self-denial movements of asceticism or become monks. Hot, great, passionate, but not balanced.

  • @Merlin2010ad Not balanced how? Show me in the Bible where we aren't to surrender our lives to Christ, in fact, Romans talks all about surrending our self to His spirit. To be obsessed with Christ is to eternally want Him to rule your actions and thoughts, I don't see what is wrong here. The problem with Christianity is that there is no heart, it's a simple mindset, Christ doesn't truly rule over these "saved" people. There is this idea that once you believe you're forgiven, that's the end...

  • @Merlin2010ad (cont) But the sad thing is that if Christ is ruling your heart, you havea driving passion for Him and His will, you are literally obsessed with Him and His will. That's what it means to give your self over to Him, we don't just believe we are forgiven because then we haven't truly believed IN Him, we have only believed that He loves and forgives. I believe in Him to guide and rule my life, that's what He is calling, the Cross was also model, freedom from selfish sin...

  • "We are talking of bare minimum of getting in" - that's not true. We get in without efforts and self denial. We get in when Self is Dead after struggling of getting in and failing thousand times in a row. There is not such thing as "bare minimum" of Us to "Get In". It takes only Jesus to get us in - it is bare minimum and maximum - it is Just Enough! It is exactly as much to "Get In" - into Life Eternal.

So, this is not balanced with the Bible, but hot and loud.

  • @Merlin2010ad This is balanced. Cause you can say you know Jesus and you like Jesus but Jesus was sent for two reasons. One to die for our sins and two to be the example for us to live by. Have that mind set, that I will go as far as dying for God. Jesus is the ticket but if you don't pay the price, you won't get to go on the ride. The price being fufilling the call God has placed in your life and save your heavenly brother and sisters from eternakl damnation. I believe this is fully balanced.

  • "He won't be around"

    That's NOT TRUE either.

Savior is much better than you think. Fobos is a bad motivation to heat children up.

    - No such thing as lukewarm christian?

How about "if I descend into hell, Thou art present." Ps 139:8???

The love is motivation - not self-denial or sacrificing for God. Mercy and not sacrifice.

  • ...only way we as humans are able.

  • @holly51493

    We never able

  • ...life and then died a selfless, obedient death--and the worst kind of death at that--a crucifixion." Philippians 2:5-8.

In order for Jesus' life to have meant anything to us or helped us with our sin problem before God, He had to become fully human. Which meant dealing with the roadblocks we as humans have. If Christ would have come to Earth using supernatural connections to God, it wouldn't have done us much good at all.

Because we aren't capable of that. He had to show us how, in the...

  • Mairoable:

    Hope this helps.

"Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn't think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn't claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient...

  • what sermon if his is this from?

  • POWERFUL!! So...blessed....!!

  • I mean, why don't I just pray for the Father directly? It seems to be that Jesus wasn't a God like this if he has to do all this. If he is been mastered by some one else, why would I go for him? right?

  • So I have a question, in the beginning of the video he said "The relation between the Father and Jesus", and "Jesus was bugged with the Father's will", and "His whole life, his energy, everything he did, where he went, every attitude, all folwed in one direction, The father's will" and "I am mastered by the father's well"

  • Wow, this is so true. I asked a Pastor - "Is it normal for me to be obsessed" because being a New Christian I find myself thinkiing about Christ, about God all day - everyday - constantly - ALL THE TIME. I started to wonder what was really going on with me! I was told that was how we are supposed to be. I was just on fire for the Lord. Praise be to God.

  • @blu626 What you're doing is completely normal. Not thinking about God is abnormal. Or said another way, sin. Sin leads to hell. Sounds like you're going to heaven. Congratulations.

  • the most moving video in the world

  • you do know wether Hes your life

  • POWERFUL!!

  • HALLELUJAH TO THE NAME OF JESUS!! THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO HEAR! It's not about sugarcoating anything, it's not about pleasing people's ears! It's about spreading the Word and declaring about who you are in Jesus! Amen!

  • Amen. Thank you!

  • a powerful message full of wisdom and truth. Not 99 percent Jesus but 100 percent Jesus, by this you shall know that you really do know Him.

  • He is at my church today and it is really a blessing. He's brought forth a new perspective on Christianity in his talk about the pentecost.

  • everything for my Jesus...

  • Whoa. Really good my friend.

I had a hard time getting past his voice though. Sounds like a comedian. But otherwise it was really really good.

  • Everything posted by setapartlife cause my heart to virtually explode with agreement. My husband and I pastored a small inner city church for 7 years. We felt very alone and always as if we stuck out like sore thumbs. My husband said last night that even though we are a part of a different church community now, total commitment to Christ is a lonely walk. This video screams our heart, our passion. Thank You So Much for putting this on your page! We are not alone!

  • @kaliselena

How is it possible to live with the Lord and "FEEL ALONE"???

Would you be so kind to explain?

  • this isn't works based faith at all. this is a burning love for the one who loved me first. if this is works based faith, then when i love my wife with all my heart and burn for her only, I hope she doesn't say, "you only burn for me because you don't want to be in the doghouse." i'm sorry my friend, i wouldn't love my wife because I was afraid of her, and I wouldn't love Jesus because I'm afraid of him either. Taste and see that the Lord is good. True love burns others, not ourselves.

  • Normally your stuff is really good, but this is works based faith.

  • no sweety this is not work based christianity because the bible says in 1cor 5:14-14 "For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again" when you are inlove you act like you are inlove

  • @jaykarroll

faith without works is dead - James 2:20

they go hand in hand jay... search the scripture.

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and bad tree cannot bear good fruit... what's your fruit telling you? your deeds? your words? your thoughts? your actions?

God bless Jay... hopefully these other people got to you too.
