I sure wish the BBC would release Blackpool on DVD in region 1. I was able to catch it here on YT this past summer and totally loved it! (It was later removed because of copyright laws.) If only they realised letting shows find an audience here makes more money for them in the long run...
Region 1 never gets anything DT... okay, not totally true but we don't have Blackpool or Takin' Over the Asylum which are the two big ones. We did get Casanova and Secret Smile, though... that's something, i suppose. *shrugs*

Where's the DVD Region 1, is that America? Because they've released it in Australia. I think that's Region 4.

Yes, region 1 is in the US (and it's territories and Canada too.) You're right according to a map I just checked Australia is region 4.
Eventually I'll have to invest in a multi regional or regionless DVD player... Can't justify the expense at the moment though. So sad!
