wow, I'm sorry people are so harsh. this was great. I can visualize what you're saying - it was a good overview. I can now see how they can all be used for larger pieces. and will move on to a more specific demo. ps, also as a long time crochet worker, I prefer metal crochet needles but as a beginner knitter, I like wood because it sort of grips more as I'm getting more comfortable. :) you make the note that metal is faster - and that's great.
This vid personally did help me in two ways, once to explain what projects you use circular needles for and two by mentioning the fact that some companies offer interchangeable circular needles that saves you the bother to have millions of different lengths and sizes.
I thought this video was very helpful. I have just started to knit in the round and found this additional information useful, thank you, it was great.
I don't understand why you don't just make the title of this video, "TALKING about kinds of circular and double pointed knitting needles and NEVER explaining how to knit on them." That would have saved me 20 seconds it took me to realize this video was useless.

this was great explaining the needles. I would have liked to see something on those needles on how you do it. I am about to do a Christmas stocking for the first time. Would have been nice to see one of your work on those needles to show this is how you use it.
:) I could not for the life of me cast on directly to the circular needles - so I just cast on to the straight needles and then knit off them onto the ciculer ones. BTW this video REALLY helped me when I was first learning. Thank you so much!!!
you also can get a 9 inch circa from hiya hiya and several other companies

I renewed my interest in knitting after reading loomknittingnow (.) com

The title is misleading :( You don't talk about HOW to knit, but rather the types of needles. Not much help.

...Okay. That's all nice. But how do you use them?? :(

That was one of the worst knitting videos I have seen. Talked to fast and didn't really say anything.
